I'm not sure what Maasai clan you visited because some of them look a bit "Samburuish" My tribe USED to dress in a very similar fashion before British Empiricism, I really wish I had gotten the privilege to live in the days of the dominant traditional culture. I would look mad if I went out in the city of Nairobi dressed in the traditional attire... it's a bit sad that I would even stand out in a negative light in my own African country.
