WOW Hi Emilie, your travels continue and the scenery continues to be spectacular. How lucky you are to be able to travel and explore our beautiful world. Happy Thanksgiving to you. Gail
Great pics Hi Ems - Sounds like a great start (minus the rain) to touring a beautiful country. Love the photos - everything looks so lush and green and the photos of the Black H'mong girls and the buffalo girl are gorgeous. Looking forward to hearing and seeing more. Enjoy your time there. Love, Mom
Hi Emily - Alex passed on your blog address cause I just did a trip around the world this past summer through the university and it seems we have hit a couple of the same destinations!! I think he thought it funny that we have a couple VERY similar pictures. I agree - Chinese countryside is great - I spend a few days in the town of Yangshuo near Guilin which was incredible. And if you think China is bad for people scamming, just wait until you get to India. Southeast Asia is fantastic, I'm incredibly jealous of you! Anyways, best of luck to you in your adventures!!
the best is yet to come i can't wait to hear your stories about vietnam and india. india is one of my favorite places in the whole world. You want soul baby? that's india.
Sorry to hear about your bad experience!
Gotta admit I would have a miserable time with people spitting all over - yuck!!!
Great pics - I love the one with the panda bear - so CUTE!!!!
Hope the rest of you travels will go smoothly and scam-free!!!!
Wow! Hey glad you're having such an awesome time. You always amaze me with your adventures! You're quite inspiring!
Anyhoo, take care and keep us all up to date,

Hey Em!
That sounds like an unusually exciting Monday! The dinner party sounded great. I have to ask though, what does horse meat taste like?
Aww! It’s so sweet that Kyoshi cried when he found out he wouldn't see you when he came home from school! Sounds like he's really grown attached to you! Getting to help out with Yoshimi's radio show sounded really fun. Does she take callers on her show too, or does she just interview guests? Argh, I wish I could afford to come down and visit you. You done so many amazing things while in Japan, I'm so jealous... ;)
Hope you continue to have great experiences! I miss you a lot, Em! Can’t wait to see you when you come home!
Love you!
xoxo Kelly
As always great to here from you! Hi Emilie:
sorry I haven't sent you a note for a while - it's always so fun to hear about your adventures. I so admire your spirit and willingness to try new things - especially horse sushi - YUCK. Anyway - thanks so much for keeping in touch - things are good here but I'm almost done at Spectra Energy so please use my company email address which is khydecorp@mac.com
Take care and be safe :-)

You should be like me and not get hangovers. Well, except for that one time in Nha Trang after the fishtank, and I think that's understandable!
