Lifes Little Luxuries I've heard about sand getting everywhere, but a shame about your camera. 4 weeks is a bit long out of your travelling time!! Glad to hear that you're appreciating life's little luxuries - the washing line!!xx
Roughing it?! "The rest of the week we spent chilling on the beach in the day time with the occasional massage and dip in the sea, and having drinks and dancing in the evening"
WOW...what a hard life my little sis leads!!

travel tales Ellie, haven't been able to get on this before now but have just spent all evening at Sue's computer catching up on all your great adventures. Very envious. How are you enjoying yourself so far, getting ready for your hiking in Aussie. Hope you endured the jungle trek ok. Thinking of you lots.
Enjoy. Lots of love Pam xxxx
Ellie and the Elephants Can see you'rew also getting a passion for all those lovely elephants! They're just wonderful! Hope Lyndsey's recovered form those nuts. Good trekking!!X
The monks were BUSY?!? What were they doing?!??! It's not as if they couldn't squeeze in a bit more prayer later that day is it??!?! Sounds as though they have a bit of a phone-stealing racket going on....I bet there were putting it on ebay when they were supposed to be meeting you!
Anyone tried Tunabay Island Resort? I am arranging for a trip to Perhentian too. Probably a 5D4N. I am likely to check out Tunabay Island Resort. Anyone been there?
Ahhh I can't believe you got your tiger balm from Boots!!don't get the one with iodine in it, apparantly it heals faster but it STAINS your skins for so long!x
plane food Hey Ellie,
Sorry, but the image of you eating a hot thai chicken curry with mouth on fire and nothing to drink because of turbulence is one of the funniest things I have visualised in quite a while.
Glad to see you are having fun on your adventure!

Bananas Aw, glad your trip isn't going to be a 'turtle' disaster. (Did you see what I did there?)
Keep writing - it's great. Us Brits will have to live vicariously through you now if we want to see that orange ball thingy in the sky ever again!!!
nice Nice to hear from you sis.....glad the flight was OK in the end....although the thought of a sleepless night, stir-fry and then having to leg it across an airport does sound a bit gip-worthy!
Look forward to hearing about the turtles. Hopefully you'll be less shell-shocked by then (mwuhahaha)?!

Hi! As my family & friends reading this will know, I'm embarking on a 6 month trip to Malaysia, Thailand, Australia, New Zealand and Fiji, booked through Real Gap.
My diary is for everyone back home to keep in touch and find out what I've been up to - how many mosquito bites I have this week, how many turtles I've swam with and how the tan's doing!
Speak to you soon!
