Getting Old??? Paul Prendiville, if you are beginning to feel old there is no hope whatsoever for your marginally older cousin. Stop frightening me with comments like that! Ride Share sounds like a great way to get around. Where are you going next?
Yep that seems better than our xmas Agh we didn't get snow. Wish we did cos I can make a mean snowman/woman. Were you tortured with that Mariah Carey song as much as I was?
Found You! Hi Paul, glad I found your blog at last, tracked it down from a message you left on Declan's blog. There is a whole lot of Canada out there so look forward to following your travels. We spent last summer in BC, you have a treat ahead of you when you get to the Rockies. Happy new year, Michelle
Cuba Hey
The best place to start is Havana...you can organise your trip from here..and old Havana is beautiful. I would advise going to a town called trindad..good fun night life which includes a cave clib:) Friendly locals and nice beaches about 2mile from town. if you don't want a town experience then try out the Pinar Del Rio area, mountains, trails beaches all that.
You should stay in places called "Private houses" they are cheap and you are staying with friendly registered locals in nice houses. I can get the number from the person we stayed with in Havana and Trindad if you like?
1 week only if I only have 6 days in cuba - where do you recommend going?
and we have been told we must book and pay for accom before we arrive in Cuba?

The plan is to visit Montréal, Toronto and Vancouver along with a national park, great lake and niagra fall or two. Of course go skiing in Calgary (or out the back of Meagan’s home place) and of course visit a local bar or two to see what Coca Cola tas... full info
