Happy Birthday Elise!
Hi Elise, sorry I haven't left any comments yet, but I wanted to send you a long distance Happy Birthday!! What a great adventure you are on! Canada will seem so boring when you get back. See you in a month, take care, Igor

I want one.
The comment title says it all. Plus, I approve of the Indian traffic laws. The loudest, biggest, pollutingest cars SHOULD get to do whatever they want. I'm guessing that there are no smart cars in India.

Skillz
With machines like that, you have AWESOME POWERS. Glad to hear that you have moved on from filing.

Why I'm jealous
Very nice blog. I am jealous of you for the following reasons: 1. You get to see exotic birds for realsies. 2. You are village celebrities. You have the power to cause car crashes. 3. Your school seems to be a non-stop party. 4. You are learning how to play ultimate frisbee. A little too late to join the LHS team, but better late than never!

ultimate frisbee rocks.
Very, very much. At least India is good for something, if it is teaching you that wonderful game. I have played it, by the way, a grand total of twice in my life. But that count will go up a lot when you come home and we have ultimate games.

So Interesting!
Hi Elise, John and I have been enjoying your blog very much. Don't know how you managed the trip with so little sleep but then I guess that's the advantage of youth! Looks like you're going to get quite a bit of traveling in. Have fun! You look great in your new outfit and chunni! Jeanette

The clothes makes the engineer
Wow. What a lovely outfit. I can just imagine Elise in a chunni and a hard hat now. Too bad it takes so long to get anywhere in India, otherwise you could do twice as much. It sounds like your excursions will be the highlight of your trip, along with the heavy equipment in tool shop of course. Take care Dad

still here!
And still reading! Thanks for your latest post. The classes sound amazing. In fact, it's nice to hear about all the details. I'd give you some of mine, but they would pretty much read "homework, homework, homework." Oh well, that's life right now. Looking forward to Reading Week!

Dear Elise We´re glad to hear from you and we´ll be checking on your blog regularly. I´m off to Paris tomrrow to meet Olivia, a week there, going to every art museum we can and then London for another week. Love Faye

Be glad about the weather...
-14 right now in Halifax with the wind chill. Although, if it was 25 degrees, I'd probably be complaining about that, too. Stupid temperature subjectivity. I have lots to say comments-wise about your blog post... but somehow it came out as a comment about the weather. And now I have to go to class. Oh! Was the plane mail diverting?

great blog!
I'm looking forward to hearing about your experience in India. What a cool way to spend your co-op semester!

Big Sister replies
Your blogs will not remain unread! I will always be here lurking in the background, monitoring your daily activities and the progress of engineering skillz. Like Big Brother, I will always be watching. Just call me Big Sister. It is my hope that you write frequent/entertaining blogs (Cool travel blogs help me procrastinate. You (yes YOU!) can, nay, MUST be a part of that!).

52 hours????
I think you beat my record by about, um, 30 hours. I'm so glad you made it safe and sound. This blog is DEFINITELY worth it, I'm so impressed you managed to put up pictures and maps and everything. I'm so curious about what your classes will be like, so let us all know! Miss you lots. I was looking through my pictures the other day and saw the one of "A Hard Day's Night." Oops. Guess that will be a welcome home present. Robin

Proof
Hey Elise. So. Questions (to answer if you have time/need material for your blog). What is the weather like (because it is -6 here, and snowy)? What about the food? Which bed is yours? Have you had a chance to wear your (non-flame-retardant) coveralls? Your blog has been officially bookmarked. And now, my head is officially in three different time zones. EST, AST and IST.

Hello all
Hope you guys enjoy reading about my adventures. It has taken quite a bit of effort to get this whole thing set up, so I hope it was worth it to you back home. Please leave me lots of comments so I know that someone is reading! Lots of love, Elise
