Point Noire
Don't know who Mama Nunu is, nor where here place is. But what I do know is that it is worth while paying a visite to "Le Crépuscule". The place closes at 1 min to 8 in the morning and re-opens at 8 o'clock. Also La Terrasse, if still existing, is a nice place. Marc

Pointe Noire is a good place (in Africa that is)
You got it. A really nice place. In fact it was so great down there that when the airport police sayd I could not travel back to Norway unless I paid 100 usd. I saluted "Yess" You got a deal mr Police man. "I'll be at the beach or casino until you change your mind. Then he decided to let me go anyway. Well, good food, good beaches (if you watch your step) and friendly people is what you will find in Pointe Noire. On top of that they have a good hospital and a good food store. I will recomend the Safari Grill just across the Casino. Best restaurant in town.

Hello, My husband is considering investment banking jobs in Nigeria to help them broker bond deals to fund infrastructure projects. But, I was thinking something a little tamer maybe like PNR? What is it like for American families there? Do you think they are looking for investment bankers? What type of work do you do. And, were you workingin PNR. I couldn\'t quite understand your reasons for being there. Thanks for answering in advance.

I typed in a search for Pt. Noire and bar into Yahoo, and your blog is what I found. I think I worked with you on the Comanche. Funny to see dave on the blog too. HA HA HA HA. Isn't Pt Noire a real tourist destination. Mama Nunu really knows how to take care of us, huh.

holy crap dude, you're a globetrotter, just like the CCP scriptures said! here's hoping you don't have to go to a doctor in the UK, and if you do, try to carefully check any cars nearby, it could save your life!

Is it terrible that I laughed my way through this entire entry? Even though you're not experincing the best of times, someday you'll look back at this one adventure and chuckle to yourself. I really would have loved to see the monkies break free. :D

The only true art piece
Howdy, I am 1 of the sculptors who was at the winterlude festival in Ottawa. The snow sculpture that you say is the only true art piece is ours. it is not a ring it is a piece about snow sculpting, there are 3 people to a team and they must come to one head in order to win a competition,They appear to be dancing because that is the way we liken our style of carving, dancing around the block. The overall shape is that of an egg, that represents the birth of the idea. This is an abstract piece and we finished third in this national competition. regards Nigel Maney, Team nova Scotia
