Halong Bay was gorgeous. Yes, at the dock, there are a ton of boats, but once you get on your junk, you are headed off for more peaceful waters. It's hard to find a good junk boat to stay in Halong Bay because there are so many options. We choose the Pinta Cruiser which is the cheaper verison and the second night, we were transfered to the Pinta Gold, which was nicer and larger. Pros: Halong Bay is gorgeous and I loved the activities (kayaking, biking Cat Ba Island, and just chilling out). Cons: There were rats on the boat, but
