sorry guys i know this is a bit overdue but im glad ive made u wait bcoz now it will be that much better. we have been on a whirlwind journey together of beer, boozing and the occasional mistranslational and allow me to share the last week of my trip before providing a brief summary to tell u all wat i have learned. last time i left off i was about to hit up loch ness, well i did and it was rainy and stormy, very real scottish weather. loch ness is big, some places almost 400m deep and said to contain enough water to submerge every person on earth two times over and still have room. after the morning cruise we took the bus to fort william and settled down for the night. next day ... read more

Well hello there friends for porbably the second last time three and a half months we have shared together through the blogosphere and it is almost at it's climactic close. Been a hectic week that I shall unfold before u now.  From memory the last time we spoke I had just arrived in nice, the capital of the French riviera. Despite it's reputation for sunshine all we got was rain but there was still much exploring to do. We arrived at the hostel late in the evening and were delighted to have our own super heated room. Following morning we dressed up all smart in our cargo pants and buttoned shirts to hit the Monte Carlo casino in Monaco, the second smallest contry in the world and the richest per capita. A beachside dwelling of lush ... read more

last time we spoke blog watchers i said i was headed to madrid tomorrow. that was a lie, i did get to madrid but that day just blurred into one long exhausting escapade. that night we were drinking, we left to go to this massive club at 2am on a monday night, the club was packed, thats barcelona for u. danced hung out, went back to the hostel at 4 30, picked up our bags and caught the 6am train to madrid that had us there by 9am for a full funpacked day. going on trains in spain is like flying, the security is so tight because of the train bombings a few years ago. where barcelona is very cosmopolitan and alternative, madrid is more artistically mainstream. it plays host to the golden triangle of art ... read more

hey there guys, got time on my hands and free internet so thought id add in another entry, keep u all happy had a great time in istanbul, it is truly one of the great cities of world. stradling the border between europe and asia, a city with a dominant muslim influence that still shows signs of its roots as constantinople, the capital of a once great christian empire. amazing architecture, the aya sofia and blue mosques just around the corner from our hostel dominated the skyline with their spires and the underground water cisterns supported by hundreds of ornate roman columns. everything from carpet shops to belly dancers to markets, to mcdonalds (yes mcdonalds does rule the world, they are fucking everywhere,) all engulfed five times a day by the thundering call to muslim prayer ... read more

hey everyone really not that much to report in this entry just trying to keep u all up to date. been trying to find a place to upload photos but italy has shit computers so as soon as i can do it i will. this week has just been completely lazy, finished off the sites in rome, slept in a lot. the only real venture out of rome was to pompeii for a day. it is so big its just overwhelming. most ruin sites have like one or two things and then thats it but pompei is an entirely preserved city that was burried under 6 feet of volcanic ash for 1500 years. apart from that its just been chilling, we have met cool people that we have been hanging out with for the past few ... read more

bongioro signore yes greetings from italy blogosphere last correspondence i was leaving the swiss mountains on my way to venice, a city that did not dissapoint. we arrived in venice in the morning with no where to stay and everything booked so we ended up staying a short busride off the island in a place called mestra which was inconvenient but wat can u do. venice really is a beautiful city, no cars, just all water taxis and touristy gondolas that are just for show. once u get out of the tourist hustle things are reasonably priced and i never thought id say this about any city because i despise the word but venice really is charming. the cannals, arching bridges and maze of streets that connects all 118 islands that make up venice. first day ... read more

I really mean wat I say in the title guys wat a week It has been. its been spread across 3 countries and encompassed some of the coolest and most amazing experiences of my life that I shall now share with my loyal readers. Started with the wutach gorge, a 14km hike through the black forest. We passed through gorges and cascading falls beneath the sparkling colours of autumns fallen leaves. We covered the last 6km in an hour just to find out the buses only ran every 2 hours. So onto the next stage of our trip interlaken!!! Arrived on the train from Freiburg over the lake under mire snow capped mountains, but in the rain this time. Made our way to the hostel and since we had such a hectic day hiking the day ... read more
