Cairo sounds hilariously like backwoods China. Glad you guys got to experience life in a logic-free zone (sound familiar Piech?, haha, jk). Anyway, hope y'all are having fun in London, take care!
wassup Hey Kevin, "....because there is something worth defending." That seems to be the main purpose of the military anywhere. Does the term freedom acquire a much greater meaning to you guys now? What the heck is hookah? From the context of "hostel King Hubble- Bubble and Arabic hookah dealer" I thought hookah was slang of something. I hope you guys are enjoying all of this and each other
Before Your Next Trip Kevin - I was talking to Ed Mai today. He has recently acquired an AK-47, and has offered to go shooting while you are here, using his AK-47 and other numerous firearms. I figured the firearms experience would do you some good before your next trip to Israel / Egypt.
What a trip Can't wait to hear your stories if and when you get home. Tennessee is going to seem so boring to you. Your El Paso grandparents, Ed, and Chorney will be here for Christmas. They'll want to hear these stories too. Try not to get blown up in Israel and elsewhere. And stay away from those funny-looking "girls".
Gettin' Shanghaied in Bangkok? Dayyyyyyum, she's quite a handsome woman isn't she? You always were pretty strange Kevin, never knew you were into this sorta thing though...
Response to Brendan from Ireland Hey Brendan, if you want to go to that awesome Japanese restaurant, go to smartshanghai.com and search for the following:
Shirukiya Japanese Restaurant
Donghu Lu (Near Huaihai Zhong Lu)
I would've gone to your blogspot and sent you the info, but blogspot is blocked here in China. Happy trails
You would! This entry screams Dan Piech in so many ways it's absurd! haha, anyway, innovative approach, I think you captured a good bit of what it's like to live here. Have fun in Thailand kidz!
Where's that Japanese steakhouse Hi Kevin,
I'll be in Shanghai in Jan. Any chance you can tell me where that Japanese steakhouse is?
Brendan, Ireland. (http://whilestockslast.blogspot.com)
shanghai Definition: 1. trick or force to do something: to trick or force somebody to do something or go somewhere 2. force into naval service: to recruit somebody forcibly into a navy
I'll bet you guys can explain how "shanghai" got the above definition. Kevin - be sure to tell the natives you're already signed up with the Air Force.
Capitalism, existentialism, hot girls go together High points for capitalism! Without the sale of your bike (material goods) you wouldn't have had the Petrovska to inspire such spiritual comments/discussions between you and Kevin.....regarding Hemingway, I'm pretty sure some of his existential inspirations came from spirits and girls he knew as well.
Happy trails.
