Just spent an amazing 5 days in Santiago, its a lovely city. So day 1 I arrived, completed spaced out, thought about spending the first day relaxing at the hostel. But got talking to a couple of Irish girls and decided to go with them into the city. Walked to the main square and then up to the Japanese garden, from the top gives amazing views over the city with the Andes as the back drop. Drifted back to the hostel, and sat in the garden and had a couple of beers. But it wasn’t long before I was feeling very very sleepy! A good long nights sleep was so needed! Day 2 I walked my feet off around Santiago, followed the walking tour in the guide book, had lunch, went to the museum of pre-Colombian
