Wish We Were There Your pictures and descriptions bring back fond memories of our trip last year. That very market was our first venture away from CPI. I think everyone will come to appreciate the wonderful atmosphere of the country. Dr. O, let's Skype.
ASU 2010 Costa Rica 1st update Thank you so much Dr. O for this first update. I was so happy to see my sweet Sarah as she met her host family. This site is AWESOME. Sarah Jones' nannie.
I'm glad you all made it through! It's a quiet day in the college dean's office, so I've had a chance to look closely at the latest blog from ASU-Costa Rica.
I really enjoyed the great pictures and amusing commentary from Chad. I did an overnight trip in a kayak once with my family on the San Juan River in Utah, but it was August and the water was pretty tame. Our adventure wasn't nearly as exciting as yours.... I love the caption showing Dr. Owens's yellow sole.
I look forward to your group's safe return this weekend. Congratulations to all of you who made the trip and my thanks to Dr. Owens for organizing this wonderful opportunity for our students.
Dr. Carol O'Connor
Dr. Owens,
Thanks for setting up the travel blog! It is fabulous! It is so nice to keep up with what the group is doing and see actual photographs and videos. I almost feel like I am part of your group ; keep up the good work.
What a great trip! Wow, we had a great trip to Costa Rica! Make Anne Marie tell you all about our beautiful resort in the Papagayo Gulf and then make her tell you why you need to be at the airport 3 hours before your flight leaves! Lessons learned the expensive way! Anyway, it was great to see Anne Marie and Costa Rica is beautiful. I have really enjoyed the blog and all the great pictures and videos! Have a great week in Monteverde and we can't wait to see you all in Memphis on Sunday!
the! cappuccino Dr. O has a mission and a challenge. She must carefully balance six cups of cappuccino on the trip home and deliver them to her friends in the library.

Looking forward to our trip Susan.....After seeing the Manuel Antonio pictures, I am certainly ready to go! We will arrive in San Jose on Monday, June 30th. We did not have any definite plans other than to sight-see and spend some time with Reid, but now we are thinking that we are just going to have to schedule a side-trip to one of the beaches! I looked up the place where your family will be staying and wow! it looks fabulous. Looking forward to hearing about your own trip to Costa Rica! We will definitely have to compare notes when we all get back home! Have Fun!!!!!
Absolutely Beautiful! Manuel Antonio is amazing! What a treat after such a fast-paced first week. The pictures are amazing and Crystal did a great job with the commentary. I had no idea that my Reid was such a great photographer! Keep the blog entries coming!
Beautiful! Wow, the beaches are gorgeous! I am jealous! The monkeys are so cute! I am so glad that you all are getting to experience all these amazing things! Soak it all up! Beth, it was great to see your blog comment! We are anxiously awaiting our departure to Costa Rica. We leave this Friday, June 27. We are flying into Liberia about 7. We are staying at the Allegro Papagayo. Anne Marie is supposed to be flying from San Jose' earlier that day and meeting us at the resort. We are so looking forward to seeing her and the beautiful scenery! Hope your trip is good! Have fun!
Cows! I love the cows. I'm going to use a couple of those photographs in my modern art class this afternoon. Thanks!
I loved the stone spheres too.
Keep sharing this kind of thing.
