I’m on the eastern tip of Long Island. I see water stretched to puffy white clouds. I see an off color sail, slowly fading into a deep red orb sinking in the smooth and calm blues, swirling together to make a Monet like masterpiece; the sun will soon be sleeping. Overhead hangs a marbled moon, as if it were dangling on a fish hook, waiting for me to take the bait. I feel a warm but cooling breeze slightly nudging me to the inland. This is what us poor people that have daily and weekly obligations call a vacation. Don't worry though, I will not always be taking such pathetic little trips. I save for all kinds of things. If Vinny Carbone can win 5 million dollars on a NY scratch off, I can certainly figure out how to make and save a large amount of "scratch" here and there (refer to blog title). OK, so... I've learned this site doesn’t have much of a community feel to it. In my opinion, it is unfortunate, that one cannot just browse for the bloggers profiles; I guess I'm just used to more socializing sites... I love the fact that you can have subscribers though, and manage them as well. I was never one for forums so the fact that there is no real time chat capability is a disappointment to me. Hello Fellow Travel Bloggers & all that I am leaving out by referencing a small group of people on a rather new site.
