Dear Sir/Madam,
I am an editor in the Distance Education section of the Victorian School of Languages in Melbourne, Australia. This is a government school providing instruction in eleven languages. Students pay a small fee and receive four Workbooks with accompanying CDs, a designated teacher for fortnightly oral lessons on the telephone or via video-conferencing and access to materials on our website.
I would like to know if I could have permission to use the photo of Santiago on the website (http://www.travelblog.org/Photos/3427452) in our Workbook for students of Spanish. This material would also be accessed by students on our website using their unique password.
The source of the photo will of course be acknowledged. A few of our Workbooks are also sold to teachers outside our school on a cost recovery basis.
Yours sincerely,
Sue

Greek from Ethiopia I happen to come across your travel blog, and it gushed long forgotten memories to
the forefront. I too am Greek born and raised in Addis Abeba and had a class mate
called Michalis Polytaridis. Wondered if you were any relation to him?
Would love to get in touch with him and other class-mates that he may still be in
contact or know their whereabouts.
Regards,

ROLLS ROYCE PHANTOM II ROLLS ROYCE PHANTOM II USED IN OCTOPUSSY WAS PURCHASED BY ARVINDSINGJI UDAIPUR FROM INDUMATI RAJE OF KOLHAPUR ON THE 27TH SEPTEMBER 1971. THE CHASIS NO, I THINK IS, YR 181
I WAS RESPONSIBLE FOR LOCATING THIS RR AND ACCOMPANIED MY OLD CRICKETING FRIEND ARVINDSINGHJI TO KOLHAPUR FOR THE PURCHASE OF THIS CAR. I DROVE THIS RR ALL THE WAY FROM KOLHAPUR TO BOMBAY WITH ONLY 45 MINUTES STOP OVER IN POONA. THE ONLY MALFUNCTION DURING THIS JOURNEY WAS HORN FUSE BLOWING OUT. ALL THE FUSES BEING THOUGHTFULLY AND NEATLY PROVIDED UNDER THE BONNET, REPLACING THE FUSE WAS A 2 MINUTE JOB !!
FOR THE FIRST TIME WE ALSO SAW CHATRAPATI'S MAYBACH.
AS PER A BOOK ON RRs THE TITLE I FORGET, ORIGINALLY IT WAS THE BOMBAY/KOLHAPUR RUN BY THE FIRST RR IN INDIA WHICH PROVED SO SUCCESSFUL AND MADE RRs SO POPULAR WITH PRINCES.
THIS IS A 7 SEATER LIMOUSINE BY WINDOVERS.
EVERY TIME I VISIT MY FRIEND ARVINDSINGHJI, I MAKE IT A POINT TO SEE THIS MAGNIFICNT PHANTOM II.

You have a lifetime to act on your travel-inspired convictions. They may occasionally feel lost in the hub-bub of Americana, floating lukewarm under the cold surface, but I'm confident that various situations along life's road will bring them to a simmer, and then boil forth with a passion that simply did NOT exist before this trip.
The world is a better place with Nico and Hannah in it!
Must publish a book! You are still going to publish a book, right??;-) Great blog. Thank you so much for inviting me to read along with your adventures!!
thank you! Dear Hannah and Nico
I would like to thank you very much for your travel blogs during more than one year! We met in march 2008 at Ban Krut in Thailand, perhaps you remember me, the woman from Switzerland. It was very interesting me to follow your travel and often I was very touched by your reports. Sometimes reading them it was for me a little bit like I would travel I myself. You also told from countries I've been also before, and I remembered things I've lived there.
I hope you can accommodate again in "normal" live, and I think, the whole live is a travel, also a inner travel. I wish you the best for your future, and hope to hear from you again! You are always welcome in Switzerland!
Anna
You are the best Knew it the first time we met that you will make your mark on this world ... and you have and will continue to do so. You have lived the time or your life and still have a lifetime ahead. I am glad you are my friend.
