After our long day of traveling, we finally made it to San Juan, Puerto Rico about 9pm local time. While waiting for our luggage, we asked one of the airport staff members where we needed to go to get to our hotel. The lady told us to take a taxi to the Pan America Port. In trying to explain to her that we were not going there yet we just needed to get to our hotel, we quickly realized she had no idea what we were saying. Have a busy day today and tomorrow with last minute chores and things to remember to pack. I am beyond excited and am just trying to contain myself long enough to remember everything I have to do. Hurricane Tomas will not be headed to San Juan, Puerto Rico...which is where we are flying into and setting sail from. Thank you Mother Nature! Just setting up the blog site is making me itch for the airport. I've never been to the S. Carribbean and I am so excited to see the locals, culture, and eat some food! I know that I will enjoy every moment I am gone and dread coming back...but thankfully I have all of you wonderful people to bring me back to reality. :o) I will try not to blog too much before I leave.
