Dear DeeJay!
One remark: during the communist era these residential buildings were left completely without maintenance. To make up for the damages would devour about a yearly budget of Budapest, you see it isn't that easy, you should acknowledge... Prague is fake (facades restored by municipaltiy for tourism) while Bp. inhabitants try to restore their building by their own efforts for living and not for tourism.... Anyway Bp is the greatest capital of Central and Eastern Europe....
oh no! Hi Nice David, I can't believe you were robbed of all your stuff! I hope you're doing ok and you're managing without all of those things; I'm so sorry for you! Hope you can enjoy what's left of your trip though... Big hugs and take care.
Looking Good!! Great to read your travel blogs, when you get back you have to teach us how to use the system. Good to hear you are enjoying yourself, my navigator still worries about you a lot! We have had similar Internet experiences; not all places allow you to load/download info. We use Libraries a lot, but allway have to book time. All well this end, missing you heaps.
Quick hello Sounds like you are having a great time. I guess you are looking forward to coming back though! Ha Ha
Did you get my text message? Anyway, see you when you get back.
Cheers
huff
wow a beard! I know you know, but wow- you're looking more like a world traveller every day! Suits you well, I think, the beard thing- I reckon you should keep it :)
PS the shoes in the snow are still a bit less shocking than the bare legs at the beach...
Friends and I may be a little over the top Hi David
Nice pic of my friends and I at EuroPride on Regent Street (Ithink). I am in blue on the left. Hope you enjoyed the day, we certainly did. Good luck on your adventure.
Regards Rob
Not Surprised The idea of you eating Escagot boggles the mind. But then you didn't actually say you ate one!
Good to hear you made the connection with your ancestors (king Robert the Bruce), or was that just a coincidence?
I can vouch for the fact that the fresh air from a walk up Arthur's Seat is the best hang over cure after a couple of bottles of good Scottish Whiskey!
duh!!!!! David I've just discovered that you have been emailing me and I thought it was spam and I have been deleting you! First image your bare legs - do I continue or not???
hi Hi Nice David, wow, what a very happy picture of us together! It reminds me of the beautiful scones I had at that cafe, mm. Sounds like you had a good time in Holland, which is great to hear. I also enjoyed our day together, even though I must have been a terrible tour guide- considering you had to read the road map most of the time to find out where we were.... It's a shame we had such bad weather on our day out, especially as now it's about 30 degrees! Or so I've heard, because we landed in Sydney again last night. It's freezing over here! Enjoy your trip and see you when you're back in Oz.
