Good typing Dean! Are you sure Shelley's hands are sore from just pointing out things? Boy, you guys are fitting in heaps! Have started a 'Shelley travel blog' at Riverside kindy for all the parents to look at and follow your travels - may have to censor some entries? Have fun!
Well done Well done Deano for getting those keyboard fingers working and giving poor Shelley's pointing fingers a rest. Studying the stone work makes me think you might want to build one of those when you get home..... The local pub sounds great and it can't be long now until you start on the next leg.
I think I told you I had a wedding coming up in a couple of weeks and next week I am doing a funeral out at Tinopai. Scary thought but hey, I can do anything eh. Ewan sold some greenstone so things looking up a bit at the moment.
Beautiful weather continues but cooler in the mornings now. Kowhai rang me this moring. She is applying for another job so asked for your email. Hope you don't mind but I gave it to her anyway. Great to talk to her.
Take care both of you and continue on your merry way with a 'spring' in your step. See that play on words. Neat eh. Love yas. xxxxx
Hey Mum. glad your having a good time! Stephanie wants to know how much your pint and sandwich cost?? she is doing research for when they go!
How can Dean not trust your navigation skills! he may need to splash out on a GPS if he doesnt want to follow yours! you might have to crash the royal wedding, that would be a story!!
been away again this week, very tired after 2 14+ hour days. looking forward to relaxing this weekend!
Love you xoxo
Jealous Much As the title suggest, jealous very much. Glad to see your havig a good time. Trust that the sense of direction will get better the longer you are there. In my opinion, a nice deep bath is always better shared.
Stay safe
Marie
karen.johnsantos@xtra.co.nz Nothing like a English pub on a crisp Spring Day. Hope you enjoyed your pie and a pint. Any mushy peas with that? They do great Scampi and Chips! Beautiful photo. on FB. Look forward to following your adventures. Safe journey....... Karen
Well done Well done guys on getting to London and the first stage. Hope you have rested up and are getting over jet lag. We all good at kindy but miss our Shelley. Kelly seems to fit in well but we haven't taken her drinking yet! Take care and drink a pint or three for us!!
London Sounds brilliant already and you've only just started. It sounds like healthy eating lolol. Pint and a pie. Nothing like it when you are dead tired and waiting to crash into a nice bed. Brilliant day here again. Mornings getting cooler and evenings too. Just takes a few days to notice the difference. Oh I got my first wedding booked. 24th March so not much time to prepare but I am thrilled. Passport money ha ha. Take care darlings. xxxxxx

Way up high How wonderful to log on this morning (Tuesday nz time) and see your first blog of the trip. It lifted my heart and so glad to hear that Dean is behaving himself. Upbringing tells in the end. Went to lunch at Nols yesterday and we all raised a glass at 1.30 or thereabouts to toast the start of an epic journey for you both. Take care. Love you xxxxx
yeehaa Blog working well.
Safe travels you two. Glad to hear Dean is behaving. Will make for a good story if he plays up every now and then though. ;-)
Enjoy!!!!
Dean and Shelley are heading away from New Zealand in March 2011. After months of planning and many, many changes to the itinerary, the airfares have been booked and paid for and deposits and dates locked in for the 2 campervans; A Spaceship for the UK and Europe and a Lost Camper for the USA and Canada. The motorbike legs of the initial plans have now been relegated to some day trips around Las Vegas :-(. Still, that gives us a good excuse to plan another trip in 2012!!!... full info
