David ... thank you so much for including me on your blog. As last time, it is so interesting to read your daily events - you have a pleasant writing style and really makes someone feel like they are there.
Enjoy your trip and thanks again !
Home David .... I just have to say that you did an awesome job documenting this trip. I really enjoyed reading your words every day and looking at the photos.
I am so glad you guys had such a wonderful time - Rick hasn't stopped talking about it and the kids are glued to his every word. I am especially thankful for all of you staying safe and coming home in one piece. It really did appear to be that once-in-a-lifetime trip.
Thank you again .... looking forward to the next one !
Linda
funny! haha david, you didnt even has to say it was bill... thats bill...good thing that hair dryer didn't have a higher setting he would of burned the hotel down to the ground...and bill would of said at least my boots are dry!!! funny stuff
OMG, my poor brother! He's had such a bad couple days! Hope he's all dryed out & the bike makes it home with no more problems! David, thanks for taking care of him...it's nice to have good friends. A bottle of rum is waiting for you! Bill, I'll make you a nice home cooked meal when you get back - you deserve it! Can't wait to see you...only two more days!
boring Took a trip with Bill and Vera years ago and I drove accross Arkansas and hated it flat, no turns no real scenery. Guess you guys will not be comming to the DC metro area
Miles I have traveled 8,248 miles so far. Spotwalla is with Rick so it won't show my ride through Kings Canyon, Sequoia, and Grand Canyon national parks. He didn't go to Kings canyon or Sequoia and went to the Grand Canyon the day I got my oil changed and rode to Sunset Canyon Crater NP.
I'm finally getting caught up! Wow! I sure missed a lot. I kept remembering to check the blog when I was away from my computer. Not tonight. I'm sipping a glass of wine, and catching up on the blogs I missed. You guys seem to be having a spectacular time. What an adventure!
Ride Safe!
Grand Canyon Next ? You're getting pretty close, only a few days away.... think you'll like Southern Colorado. Albuquerque is filling up fast for balloons on Saturday. Was starting to wonder where you guys were, then remembered how bad rural Calif is for Wifi.... funny. Pictures are awesome, recognized the Sequoia's and the Hoover Dam..... hope you're still enjoying the trip.
The sunset on those pics was amazing as it seemingly sunk into the water. Can't wait to see pics of the redwoods when you go. Hope the weather is great for you guys. Enjoy, Dianne
Washington Blog the best yet This was a great entry! I laughed out loud at the "Paradise" reference. I have friends who live in Seattle and they know about the cloudy vs. sunny side of the mountains. Live and learn, right?
Re: Australia. If you were to "bike" (no motors!), I bet you could get our friend Ray to do that with you.
Keep 'em coming, David. It's great reading.
THANKS FOR SHARING YOUR TRIP DETAILS i've been following the blog since day 1. Really enjoy it. Sounds like you are having a great trip. Wish I was with you. Ride Safe.
Love all the photos Glad that you are finding our posts worthwhile. It's hard to keep quiet seeing pictures and hearing about your trip. I am so inspired -- to both retire and take a cross country trip on the bike. No one told me there was vodka at the end the rainbow! Woot.
Thanks for including all of us on your magical mystery tour.
