Privet iz Yaroslavlya. I'm a British student in Russia and I found your diary while writing in my own. Make the most of the good aspects of Russian life - the vodka and fish episode will make a great story when you get home! Use your head and you can avoid the bad people.

Hi David,
I just read your Nagpur experience. For you it may be strange experience but for we Indian what you have written is perfectly normal. I have tried "Paan" few years back and I felt almost chocking. But the Ghee is good. I like it but it increases Cholesterol. Now you must change your name from David to Indian name Dravid (The famous Indian Cricket Player)- well I am just kidding :)
I really miss your photographs of Kolkata and Nagpur trips. My best wishes to you and Tanuja.
Regards,
Pankaj Roy
fun Love reading about your adventures - it sounds so much fun and it's great to to live it with you both. I hope other people are sharing your brilliantly written journals - how about a book when you get back?!
