No it was in the afternoon. The van is really easy to drive. It didn't take long to get used to the manual again either. We have lots of pic's but usually we try and keep the crowds down. Have fun and see you in a couple of weeks

Darren and Menca, Sounds like a great trip. Is the Van easy to get around in? Why are you the only people in the pictures? Were you at the Backbencher Pub for a breaky beer? Cheers, Keith

Hello
Its sounds like a great trip. We are glad you are having a great time and that menx is coping with the crossing OK. It is freezing here. Nick sent a photo of the snow in Kinglake about a foot in places. Snow also in Ballarat, Dandenongs, Flowerdale, and we have had 36mls of rain in the last 23hours-70mls since we got home. Things look a bit trecherous for the Phillip Islan Grand Prix and the Caulfield Cup. We are off to the pictures and out to dinner. Keep having fun Love Mum and Dad

Memories...
Hi folks! You have managed to condense the last month we had in one blog doing more or less what we've done (compare with our blog). Like yourselves not fans of city life. We've luckily escaped the worst of the weather. Wellington, then South Island for 2 months to get some fresh mountain air! Enjoy doing what all people with sense should be doing! x

Hello
Glad to hear that you have sset off to explore Auckland. Jan and I had a good time at our patchwork weekend the weather venue and food was amazing. While we did that dad washed and covered the van, washed and vacuumed the car and stained the deck-he will want to go on holidays again soon. keep having fun
