After 30 hours of travelling, a few hours kip and non stop heat, I finally made it to Koh Tao in Thailand! My name's Dan, and I'm currently on my gap year. For the last 8-9 months I've been slugging it away working in order to save up enough money to do what many students do on their gap year - go travelling! I decided to visit Thailand and more specifically, a little paradise island of the eastern coast called Koh Tao. Here I will be spending the next 8-12 weeks training in a diveshop, climbing up the PADI ranks to become a certified Divemaster.
