Theresa and Dave. We have had quite a few friends visit Machu Picchu. They all loved it. They even tried the guinea pig and frog which were some of the more interesting foods there. Have a great trip.

Nice looking blog
Hi there, just trying to self promote a site I have started and see if you would be interested in putting your blog on it. Its called BlogsOnAMap.com. Its a free site that will help people find like minded individuals in their part of the world. I just launched it yesterday so I need some people to help populate it and also spread the word. If you can be of any help it would be great! Thanks, Jon Rowe

re: bluebs memories and connections
Hi Bruce, Yes, I do know a Jim Crann - he's my Dad. He would have been in his early 70's by now, but unfortunately he had passed away in 2005. Dad worked for the military and was an aircraft radio technician. Thanks for your comment!

Bear viewing
We are currently travelling in South America and wont be back in Churchill until april. The bears do come off the ice when it breaks up, but generally they are quite elusive until fall. There are bears all summer in small numbers, but the best time to see them is mid October until mid November..
