Happy New Year,
Simon, Tabatha, Tatum and Shayla.
Bien affectueusement, Jacques.
Thanks for sharing Your adventure looks amazing! I am so proud of you and Nadine for showing the boys another side of life that will enrich their lives forever. Your blog is extremely informative and it is great to follow your travels. Hope Alex is feeling better. Love to all, Heather
We are the parents of Nathalie Hi all,
We've read your wonderful description of Tunisia with great interest, having visited several parts of that country with our daughter Nathalie, our son-in-law Soufiaine and their beautiful children Lilia and Ryan. You have given a true insight of the land and its traditions. Nathalie was delighted with your visit and told us all about it. You are living a great experience with your children and you will all have so many wonderful memories to cherish. Wishing you Bon Voyage.
Wow! What an amazing experience! Absolutely, let us know how we could make a donation to the orphanage or sponsor a child.
Take care, and keep having fun,
Dave and Launi
Wanna trade some snow for your heat?? Hi all! I will repeat myself again and tell you what a blast it is to read your blog!! Last night, at bedtime as we prayed for your family, Julie asked, "Can you show me that picture again with Mr. Cooper and that thing on his head..? ....that was cool!" She of course is refering to the turban Dana wore on the desert trek. Nadine, you are unbelievable....so courageous, really!! I can't imagine sleeping out in the desert under that little blanket! And now, what a great experience you've had at the orphanage...you've got to be mighty proud of your boys! No news here, just the same old stuff. (Speaking of old, Pat turns the big five-oh on Dec 3rd.) This week snow has arrived, and the gang have been awaiting the white stuff, their skiing/boarding equipment was dusted off weeks ago when our only other skiff of snow fell. Opening day at Hidden Valley is a week away...Dec. 5, they anticipate. Thinking of you often...I miss ya Nadine..God bless you and yours, Karen.
Souvenirs!

Tunisia looks incredible! Fabulous Blog - really enjoying your chronicles of your travels. Are you keeping up with your french lessons? Hope everyone is healthy and happy. We are all doing great on this end. Love to all, Heather, Mike, Lindsay and Sean
Tunisia and the souks I know what you are talking about. Same as Libya. Driving- I remember it well. Nobody watches anybody else - it is just put your foot on the petal and drive. We should send some of our poor drivers over there and see how they managed. trip to the desert sounded interesting and you went on dromederies? and slept in a beudoin tent. Wow! what an experience. Some things you will remember forever. Carthage is very nice and old. Have a great time in Burkina Faso.Talked to Marie and she said she was meeting you in Tunisia. Have fun! Love Mom
What a family experience! Hi all of you! I have been following you on this terrific trip and think all of you - especially your children - will never forget this experience!
Congratulations Nadine on planning such a trip and Dana for such a Journal. I am a little late in reading and just trying to catch up. Just great!
Love Your Aunt Denise
Great reminder! Hi guys!
It sounds like you guys are having a wonderful time. That trek in the desert sounded great, something I wish I had done while in Tunisia. Thank you for all the reminders of Tunisia, I enjoyed it as well, but since I was on a tour, it had a much different feel. It must have been great to experience it with the locals and go to the non-touristy areas.
Have a great time in Barkina Faso.
Sandi
Tunisian trip Just love your travelogue and find it most interesting! Keep the reports coming - I'm saving them all and re-reading regularly. Love to you all.
Norma
hello to you all and happy times Sounds as if you are having a fabulous time. You all look great. What an experience! Spain and Barcelona sound very interesting. Enjoy yourselves and have a wonderful time. Miss you but know that you are well and having a great adventure. Love Mom.
Safe journey to AFRICA!! Hi Nadine and Dana! Thanks for allowing us to share in this interesting journey. My computer was in the shop for a long week and a half, so I was really hoping for another blog entry to read as soon as the computer was back and running. So as I read this today, your gang is already headed to Africa....too exciting!! Dana's very descriptive blog just needs some appropriate backgound music, and I could really imagine myself in these countries. I can't help but think that our youngest kids would have a real challenge with unfamiliar foods and spices etc. , Nadine , how are your boys doing in that regard? Can you find your club soda is most places you've been? Pat has just gone out for a round of golf at The Blume today, i can't remember Nov. golfing in the Hat since we lived here. The kids are praying for snow, of course, I just like driving on dry roads for a few more weeks if we can. Keeping you in our prayers, Karen
Happy Birthday - belated. Happy Birthday Dana. Hope that ypu had a good day. Your trip sounds fascinating. What a chance to see the world and the people. Aren't ruins interesting? I always wonder who was here before me.It is snowing right now and life is cool here. Hopefully it will melt away soon. The trees are frozen with leaves still on them. Looks strange! Happy adventures to you all. What a holiday you all are having. Love to Alex, Gabriel, Nicolas, Nadine and Dana from Grandma. Lots of hugs and kisses.
WOW! Quelle belle aventure! Thanks to Patrick, we've just finished reading through your whole blog this morning.
Reminds us of our cross-canada expeditions with the kids. Even got a glimpse of the "2107 Anywhere" in your photos. How's that for an address? :) What a wonderful idea! We are now hooked! And will follow your adventures! The narration is awesome... we feel like we're there with you!

Jacques.
