travel blog
Hi, I came across your travel blog while researching a trip to Canada. Whilst your trip didn't reflect anything i was looking for, I thoroughly enjoyed reading your blog an just thought i would let you know. I am in Gloucester nsw australia which is about 1.5 hours north west of port stephens. I too have three children and have started travelling with them. In 2008 my husband and kids and i travelled around australia for 14 weeks. Check out our blog at http://lmoar.edublogs.org if your interested in checking out what you missed. Unfortunately the photos only include the last 200 as we no longer play for the flicker account to keep them all up there. Last year we decide to tent camp for 3 weeks in south west usa. It was brillant, even though all our friends thought we were crazy taking tents to the other side of the world. That blog is at http://danmoar.wordpress.com Now i am starting to plan a couple of months of more camping in north america and canada for next year, which is how i came across your blog. Any way, thanks for sharing your stories, I really admire your courage and strength as travelling with children is certainly not an easy thing epsecially in non english speaking countries. Hope you have settled into your new city and don't hesitate to contact us if you ever plan to come down under again!! Leisa Moar

Happy New Year
Hi to the Coopers. The Smythes are reunited in Australia. Danielle has been here for a year going to school, has another semester left so we are here visiting for 5 weeks. Have spent one week in Sydney and are now up in Cairns for 8 nights. We are doing the Whitsundays and then GoldCoast and finishing off with Melbourne and Adelaide. Will be heading back to Canada on Jan.23. I will watch for when you are headed here, maybe we will cross paths or we can give you help on how to keep the trip to two weeks! It is a huge country. You are all having an amazing time, wonderful to read your blog. Cheers, Leigh
