Hey guys, sounds like you're having a great time. Can only comment about NYC as we haven't been to Boston etc, but we had an amazing time there. Totally different time of year to you though, there was snow on the ground and it was truly freezing (colder than Antarctica!) in January, but New Yorkers say that you should visit in each season as you'll have a different experience in each. You say you're not sure whether you love it yet, but Rich (who doesn't like cities much at all) thought it was the best!! I agree with Anna, the Staten Island Ferry, a definite must, and I would say go ice-skating in Central Park........wrong time of year eh??!! Anyway, am living your dream through your blog and wish we were back on our travels too.........
