glad you made it alive! I have bungee-jumped before, but I dont know if i'd like to make it from a crane... into a tiny pool... safe, really?! Congrats!

Conquered!

Thanks!
lol I'm glad I survived as well since it was sketchy. But I honestly enjoyed it, the dodginess of the crane added the sense of danger to the sport as it is... To survive it made me feel so alive

Hello Maria! Great reading your blog! I've been in Santorini in August 2008 and I got to tell you that for me is still the place where I actually think you are on top of the world with no limits to dreams :). Enjoy your ride in Europe. If you need some tips just ask. I've been travelling in the last years in Europe and maybe I can be of help for your trips here. Best! Irina

nice blog
been there once and yes, the labyrinth is something of a story....with the Minotaur and all. I did enjoy the street scene in the city center, although there was a rally when we went. almost lost our group with all the chaos, but nevertheless a very interesting city. wish u had more time to enjoy the city, but one can always head back, right? cheers.

Crete is more than Heraklion
Hi there, interesting to read about a visit to my island. Let me assure you that Crete has so much to offer, in fact some people has described it as "not an island but a continent". There is beautiful nature, high mountains (over 2000 meters), pristine beaches, gorges cut into the steep mountainside, forests, forgotten villages, and of course several towns/cities. Heraklion has its good nooks and corners, though I agree that the market street is not the best place to visit. I don't know if you had the time to visit in the evening when the centre of the city is one big party, cafe, bars and restaurants being crowded. As for archaelogical sites there are hundreds of them, while I love Knossos there are others that are of more interest. I hope you will come back, take the time to explore the island, you need at least a couple of weeks to be able to see the more important things this island has to offer. Best wishes and happy travels Inga

Your blog made me laugh
It's tough to listen when they've given the speech so many times they have nothing left. So-- what did you decide? Were they crazy or high?

Glimpse of the Past
Through visiting places like these, people can surely have a time travel to the past. Agora, Parthenon and Acropolis are some of the awe-inspiring tourist destinations that are must-visits among tourists. Not to mention other places which have great historical and cultural significance like European countries and the Middle East. Israel for example, is a living proof of the rich historical past of human race as it cradles some of the oldest faiths in the world. Judaism, Christianity, Islam, and others. A visit to this country can truly be a sure delight among people from all over the country. There are many Israel hotels situated in Tel Aviv, Jerusalem, Bethlehem, Jaffa and others which offer great accommodations for tourists. Visit www.israel-resort-vacation.com for more information.

Glad to read that you got over the misconceptions of Cambodia or how us Cambodians would call it, "Srok Khmer". Told you so right? ;) I'm actually planning on going back this Nov to get my dual citizenship and getting a vacation home there for myself. Not sure if I want it in Siem Reap or Phnom Penh yet. Once things settle send me an email...would love to hear more about your trip. Vourn
