Thank you for your photos Dear Chuck and Linda, What an outstanding trip. You sure do know how to travel. Thank you for keeping in touch.
We will be joining the Regent Voyager this August embarking from Stockholm for 35 days. We will disembark in Istanbul,Turkey. We will visit Stockholm before the cruise for three days and also stay in Istanbul for three days. George and Sherri Burke will also be on the ship. We recently did the Grand Asia Pacific trip at the end of 2008 with the Burke's.
The GAP trip,100 days, on the Mariner was wonderful. We renewed friendships with many old cruisers and made some new friends as well.
Stay well and keep travelling.
Fondly,
Phyllis and Eddie
Blarney Not so sure if we've been blessed with the gift of the gab - but Logan and I just kissed the Blarney stone when we were in Ireland last month! I figured we couldn't go that far and NOT do it!
puffin, lamb, whale? oh Chuck, you should be ashamed eating all these cute creatures.. How about a good RIB EYE? I hope y'all are having a great time in San Diego, Vegas and beyond. It's hot in Texas still. The 'girls' are still spoiled and they miss you guys. I can hear them mooing about it now.
Better than a postcard Thanks for sharing these fabulous travel blogs! It really is better than a postcard! You can write so much more and each photo is a postcard in itself! Happy Sailing!
Good job Now if I can get you guys to follow us around the world to the other countries I can print your blog and put it in my albums!!!! Much earsier than doing it myself.
Comments Wonderful Commentary and great pictures. I never expected to see Iceland, but you have illuminated a part of the world we have never visited.
We will be on the Voyager in August on a Baltic Cruise. You have increased our anticipation. If only you would surprise us again as you did before.
We plan to be on Segments 2 and 3 in February of the World Cruise.
Thanks again for sharing your adventures. Love, Vivienne and Bill
Voyager at sea Glad to see you back in the cruising mode. Looks like you lucked out with the weather. How long were (are) you on the ship? Isn't she a beauty? We're so happy she made it out of dry-dock on schedule and has resumed her trips. Was Jerry Vasi on when you were? He is great. RSSC has finally found someone who can make us not miss Frankie so much. We had lunch with Mike and Sherry last Sunday at the St Francis Yacht Club--we thought of you and our nice evening there. We are going on the GAP cruise on the Mariner on 09-09-09. What are your future cruise plans. Hope all is well. Keep in touch.
happy you stayed at Fort Lauderdale! Hi! I am happy your trip went well. I just wish you had the chance to experience hotels in Fort Lauderdale as well.=)
What a GREAT Trip ! We loved reading all about your fabulous USA road trip and seeing great pictures....many with people we recognized! So happy that you took us along for the ride......we loved it!
Just a Sample Great photography and information. This really show that the Pacific Northwest has alot to offer. This is just the tip of the iceberg. I have lived here all of my live and it still amazes me we find more and more to see and do all the time. The nice part too is that there is such a wide variety of landscape and activities to do. Any trip around the Northwest is well worth it.

Canada eh! Linda and Chuck,
We are glad you enjoyed the Canadian part of your trip but are sorry that we did not meet when you were in the Toronto area. This is a beautiful time of the year in southern Canada - crisp mornings and cool afternoons with superb colours. I played 9 holes on a course near my home today and the colours were magnificent. One small correction - the Olympics in Montral were in 1976!
Safe travels,
Ken and Marilyn O'Connor
Good to see you traveling again Hi Chuck and Linda,
It's always fun to read your trip reports. 76 days on the road is a long time. I'll be looking forward to more.

EARTH TRAVELERS
The travel bug took hold of us early in life. Maybe because, as children and “Air Force Brats”, we moved with our families every couple of years to bases around the world; like Rio de Janeiro, Brazil for Chuck and Anchorage, Alaska for Linda. We met in 1976 and married in 1979; our 34 years together have been greatly influenced by our many travel adventures. After 20 years in the real estate field and only being able to get away for three weeks at a time, we retired in ... full info
