Here's a collection of one of my friend who insist on showing to her friends back in Europe and Americas (and perhaps around the globe) that eating sago worms is not only possible in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah (Borneo), it's also really exciting and fun. This short footage was shot on 18th February 2009 at Monsopiad Cultural Village, the first cultural exhibition centre that opened its doors to the public back in the early 2000 in the district of Penampang - just 15 minutes journey by car from Kota Kinabalu City. The 2nd route for the ariel view shots were of; 1. 1 Borneo - currently the largest hypermall to date ; 2. Sabah Foundation Building - one of the the few hanging structures in the world ; 3. The Tunku Abdul Rahman Islands ; 4. Kota Kinabalu City ; 5. Kota Kinabalu City, Waterfront ; 6. Sutera Harbour Resorts, The Magellan & Pacific Sutera ; 7. Kota Kinabalu International Airport. Now everyone gets a piece of Kota Kinabalu from a bird's eye point of view. *(this is a continuation of my "Ariel View of Mt. Kinabalu, Kundasang and Mamut Copper Mine" earlier posting ... read more

Due to the "no fly zone" area of approximately 2.5KM, I managed to zoom in for pretty good shots (if I do say so myself :p) of Low's Gully, Low's Peak, Kundasang Market and Mamut Copper Mine. Without the aid of flash, setting precise shutter speeds to capture original colours plus a "strap on" steady grip, the output turned out more than what I had expected! The return route for refueling saw me snapping away shots of the Likas Mosque with Mt. Kinabalu in the ... read more
