Hey Char, sounds like you saw the pretty sights in palenque. luckily i saw the waterfalls and agua azul in peak seasons, and they were just as beautiful then! did you check out the Mayan museum? (great pics too...and you're right, the smaller waterfall is misol ha.. ) Stace x

Sounds like good entertainment
Well that sounds like a really cheap way to be entertained! I dont know what you are complaining about! It's the real way to see life and learn the language although not I agree the views. However we are always being urged over here to get off a stop earlier and walk for 'health's sake' so here's the opportunity. Perhaps you will have more patience however with home systems on your return though I somehow doubt it! By the way last I paid a tube fare it had gone up to £4.90!!!

I should probably mention though that they also pretty cheap. 4 pesos for as far and as long as you can stand. That´s a little less than 20p. Beats £4.60 for a trip on the London underground!
