Cam and El

Well, we made it to London, despite the fact that our alarm didn't go off in Singapore, causing a mad rush to the airport in a taxi. We arrived Sunday night at around 7pm at Heathrow.. the pilot told us we were lucky to have been able to land and find a parking spot, but the bad news was that there was no terminal for us - so we had to wait for a bus to take us from the plane to the terminal. This meant a lot of waiting around in the plane, but once we finally got out it was so nice to breath some cool refreshing air - especially after Singapore! We landed in Singapore on the 5th, with Sean in tow, only to discover that the city was blanketed in haze.. somthing about Indonesian farmers and their forests burning.. It made for a very dirty stay, but the food almost made up for it... we had the best biryani ever, and some pretty decent satay and char siew. We also went for Yum Cha on morning, and had some locally brewed beer - though it was a bit warm.. I guess we should get used to that heading over to the UK :p ... read more

We've just handed in the keys for our rental property in Vic Park, and are beginning to realise that we should perhaps start packing! Our flight leaves for Singapore at 7:45am on Thursday 5th October..... read more
