Fear Factor! I convinced my friend Coly and Amy to participated in what I lovingly refer to as "fear factor". On this very memorable day we ate blowfish, bugs, live octopus, and dog for lunch. This story is about the dog. Selling dog meat has been illegal in South Korea since 1984, as manufacturing and processing of dog meat has been outlawed. However, the laws are not strictly enforced. I ate dog meat at a local restaurant in Busan. The primary dog breed raised for meat is the Nureongi (누렁이), or Hwangu (황구; 黃狗); which is a kind of mix-breed dog.
