Statistics "the more safe flights I have, statistically the closer I am to a crash."
Isn't that guff? Like saying that the more times I toss a coin and get only heads, the closer I am to getting a tails in the future! Unless there's some kooky causation going on....
@Waiting patiently for the little green man to wave at us means nothing" Haha that reminds me of here. I stopped at a pedestrian crossing only to have cars honk at me and drivers angrily drive passed for slowing up traffic. Apparently people on the roads are bowling pins. However when a cow crosses people stop. Solution you and Haley need a cow outfit.
Enjoyed the post!
creepy gingers well, you can't say there are no gingers, just that you haven't seen any. the chilean exchange student in my high school was ginger, my best friend in chile is a red-headed freckled ginger, one of chile's most famous movies called "machuca" features a ginger as its protagonist. chile is not scotland or ireland, but gingers do indeed exist. enjoy the rest of your time in south america!
Volcanoes Nah trip not affected other than 7 weeks lost photos. Bought a brand new camera 14 mega pixels (old one was 10) for very cheap so just have to start accumulating once again. No more night buses if avoidable though...
Update Hi to you two,
Important news in case you missed it.
1. Car alarm going off outside. May get off my arse and have a look outside window.
2. Carragher picked for World Cup 30.
3. Fabregas off to Barca.
4. Booked our hols. Mini back packing, like you, although Rome/ Florence/ Pisa and Malta. Only one earthquake potential.
5. Xmas festivities booked with the annual Quo event at Wembley.
6. Not my car alarm.
Enjoy. Baited breath for next blog.
Your good looking father.
I really enjoyed your Chile post. It reminded me of my own trip there, and how much I loved it! My blog is looking for travel photos, reviews, etc, to share. If you have the time, check it out at dirty-hippies.blogspot.com, or email us at dirtyhippiesblog@gmail.com. Continued fun on you travels!
Heather :)
Booziness Hasn´t been much booziness in truth.
Had a lot of wine in Mendoza, that´s another blog to come. Finally started drinking red wine as it´s so good over here.
Been all over the Quilmes and the Escudo and Cristal in Chile. Just got to Salta and they drink beer called Salta.
They´re all beers with dinner though, no heavy nights really. I´ve grown.
Fame at last Sadly, nothing in the Malta Times I can find. Who was der man touting for your tome? I see from your latest entry that you have cocked up a few times. As I always say, spontaneity is the best way to travel, but you do have to plan it.
No mention of beer names or beer cans ("beer can" -sounds oddly like a Caribbean asking for breakfast). I need to be informed of the alcohol consumption (Hayley - no red Bull for him please)
Keep up the good work.
It didnt take long Hello you two, well it didnt take long for Hayley to realise that you are not able to wear your pants over your tights and that as far as you are concerned its everyman for himself!!!
Still sounds like you are having fun, keep up the blogs, the pair of you, we are enjoying them. Much love to you both
The Maltese Times Not quite taking me on as a writer, just the one blog about Argentina!! I´ll take it as a mini claim to fame though. Wish I knew someone there to get a copy, oh well.
Making Media Congratulations about the Malteste Times taking you on as a writer. Spondoolics? Or are they filling their pages for free? Liverpool won 4-0 at Burnley, which means horns of a dilemma next Sunday, unless Sunderland do a job and as Bruce has probably been paid, v. unlikely.
Showing appreciation Thoroughly enjoyed your latest installment , chuckling to myself over my lunch, which normally would worry my colleagues but they're used to strange episodes when I'm high on sugar so they probably think I've just pigged out on a slab of carrot cake for lunch. Kx (I know - a waste of good cake opportunity by tainting it with vegetable Chris, I should make it Chocolate Brownie/Fudge Cake)
Triple O Yes Mike, that was out of order. I think we had to tell Tony to tone it more than anyone!
Very jealous so far and your only in BA! Lucky for you your not here in the UK - I had a strawberry gateux, a garlic bread and some dody chicken drumsticks land on my head this morning due to the fallout from Iceland! :-)
Have fun and put some photos up will you x
Tone it Jayj Howdi. hope you both have a cracking time and keep us updated with your banter filled blogs. Although Bully, whats this statement all about in your intro: "We've both had our boozy trips to Australia, now for something a little more adult (and hopefully a little less racist). " !?!?! I know we had to tell Jonny to tone it a few times back in 06 but he wasn't that bad!
Photos Apologies the internet connections are slow down here, photos will be put on when we find one that can actually take it (none of Chris´s til he can find a cable though the idiot).
Any older people? Yes there were people of all ages there, we are 27 but weren´t the oldest or the youngest. It was a nice chilled out hostel, not in the best area for access to the city but is okay if you like to walk (about 8 blocks to subte or 12 to the centre of the city).
Tii nih mian niak jeh phiasaa awngle te?
Oooo it's started already. The culture is flowing through our veins like the Human Bot-fly larvae will be in just a matter of days.
Hello and welcome to our vivid and often exaggerated account of our trip across the World. Signed off from work and with so many holes in our arms that we look like human sprinkler systems when we have a drink, we set off on April 7th 2010 due to rotate back to the real World in October of the same year. We've both had our boozy trips to Australia, now for something a little more adult (and hopefully a little less ra... full info
