Wine for Pooty Bruce, I read about the snake wine just in time. It's your lucky day! I'm saving my last bottle of grackle wine for you. It's a '97, I believe; made from unfortunates found floating in our pool over the years. Buck a shot. Hurry back. Dick T.
Mannnn sounds like a great cabin! I could just sit and stare out over the ocean with a glass of wine for days and never get bored...the water soothes the soul.
Just now catching up Hi Bruce and Catherine,
Jim just forwarded me all the blogs you've sent so I could repond. He has to hunt and peck and it takes him 30 minutes to write a sentence. lol. He doesn't check his stjames46 regularly anymore. He gets so much junk mail that some of these blogs got buried. You might start using utilitybusters@gmail.com, he gets little junk mail there. It is really nice to hear from you both and we enjoy getting to see your pics. Very exciting and equally interesting! The guys wearing their bling, or their wifes bling, is definately something to get used to :), although I could see Jimmy getting into it as well. You both look very happy and we both had big smiles while looking at your pics, so it is infectious! We are so disappointed that we keep missing your calls, the number threw us off again! We always love hearing from you! Watch out for those Komodo Dragons! Love yall!
So loving participating in your journey! Hi, Kathryn,
Such a wonderful trip you're having! Thanks so much for sharing. I've been thinking of you. Looks like so much fun. Can't wait to hear about your experiences in China.
Warmly,
Barbara
doo-doo coffee But, Kath, you didn't say how the doo-doo coffee tasted! I did see a program segment on it. Wondered who decided to brew the first cup -- we need to meet that guy....or maybe not. A concern: were the sticks going to protect you from a hard charging, hungry, carniverous Komodo? Not, they were trickin' you. Don't do that again. We need yours and Pooty's delicate white meat back here in Dallas eventually. Keep the news flowing. Dick T.
dallas report You probably heard aready about our record snow in Dallas. 12". It was beautiful but dangerous. Lots of power outages and tree damage. Today it's all just a memory. Everything back to normal. Valentine's day was fun. Dave and I had dinner at Oceanaire and told Mason hello from you two. The NBA alstar game was on so the Westin was packed with very tall people. It took us 45 minutes to get to the restraunt. Lori and Dustin joined us and we had a lovely meal. I'm having a little "procedure" done on Thursday. A little laser resurfacing. I'll be hiding out for 4-5 days. Dave will be in AZ at his niece's wedding. Work is still a little on the slow side but we are making the best of it. We love the blog. It helps but we still miss you lots. Mary
While you were gone.... I'm typing this on 2-12. You are the envy of the cayfriends neighborhood. And what you missed is the 8 or 9 inches of snow that is now in your front yard. Judging from your blogs, I think you'll be able to get over the missed snowman opportunity!! Sounds all beautiful and that, Katherine, part of your fun is watching what Captn Bruce will be doing next. I suggest that before he returns, he 86 the native loin cloth he surely has been wearing.
How fun I think I'm having as much fun reading about your adventure as being there....not really but thanks for sharing your adventures. I'm so happy for you.
I am so jealous! Thank you for including me in your blog. I will enjoy watching your travels. I resigned from Bank of America last Friday. I have an opportunity to go to work for a boutique bank that is opening a office in Plano between Park and Parker on the tollway. It is First Private Bank of Texas and it will open in April. I will once again be working with affluent clients which I love. I just wanted to let you know and please do not email me at work as I am no longer there. Since I am going to work for a competitor, they asked me to leave. I will talk to you more about it when you return.
