Peacock message The peacock reminds us to see the beauty in all aspects of life. Its eerie call sounds similar to a laughing screech and reminds us to laugh with life and not take things so seriously. As it presents itself with confidence and awes us with its beauty it teaches us how to keep the ego under control and to set all vanity aside. Past lives associated with superiority has been linked to peacock medicine people. By observing the peacock we can learn to strut our stuff with dignity and grace.
STOP PICKING UP THE HIRED HELP!!! Hey Linds, get a good tan while you're there, eh? how's the food? I think you should keep a pet lizard and name him larry.
Love ya

News travels fast. it is cool that even people in the land of upright men know about the Senator's problems. We are down 3-0, but there is still a lot of excitement, and cars driving around with Sens flags. People will be on pins and needles until the game tonight.
love the pics yeah to the pictures, now i really believe that you are in Africa, and not in some random room somewhere pretending to be gone for a year! (j/k) Looks amazing, and i look forward to more pics. Glad to hear that things are going really well - and nice pick on the blue shirt - brings out your eyes, but i know you knew that!!!!
xoxoxo
great pics Hey Hans/Frans,
first off I'm really glad you finally got teh pics working, i love looking at them. Africa is so different, it's so exciting that you are there, I wish I was there with you...maybe if I make some money in the furture I'll visit or go back with you. who knows I'm not much of a planner...not like you anyways. I nearly had a heart attack when you said in your blog that it's hard ot think about what you'll be doing in a couple months or so....need i mention u are a giant nerd and you plan EVERYTHING, right down to the time, place and meal you will be eating five years from now!! ok a bit of an exageration but i think it gets the point across...you are planner crazy! this is so teh right job for you! also geta picture of the lazy eye man...i wanna see! does that make me a weird? anyways keep the reports and pictures coming and I will chat with you soon. Lots of Love xoxo.

linds, i think that you are wise beyond your years in a way that very few comprehend. i am blessed to have you in my life and know that this journey - both literal and figurative - will only serve to help you grow as a human being.
i am proud of the woman you have become the three years that i have known you (imagine that, we've known each other three long years!)...yes i do see a spectrum of change - from the girl i met in 2003 to the woman i know you are today.
i love you and i can't wait to see you in a few short days.
love always
lovely linds! love the blog so far, and can't wait to keep reading it as you travel far far away. But serioulsy, knowing you for over 21 years and I dont get a pic on the website! haha WE'll have to cut and paste our photos together seeing as we haven't been in the same province lately!
After a great trip around West Africa in 2006-2007, this blog is back due to popular demand! This time, the destination is Australia. I will be studying a Masters of Corporate Environmental and Sustainability Management at Monash U in Melbourne. Stay tuned for all the excitement. :)
