Graceland...
was also a big part of my childhood and still one of my faves :-) I am really enjoying reading about your travels and am inspired to start one of these myself :-) I will be sure to drop you a postcard from Costa Rica! Love you!

Thanks!
Hi Britta, Thank you so much for such a descriptive letter and beautiful photos. Your writing is really good. How beautiful it is and how lucky you are to be able to have that experience. Noah is here working with Michael for the next month so we are happy to have him. I have 3 more weeks of school and then summer! I plan to go to the NW to visit my sibs. Keep the photos and essays coming. Stay safe! Love, Jill

Hellooo
Hey Britta, Jan forwarded this to us, great to here (and see photos) of your experiences! Thanks for sharing! We are barely into spring here, everything is green but still cold air temp. Not enough singing and dancing to warm up! The food sounds very vegetarian, is it? What about fish? I start the wagon this week and pray for a rain free and realatively warm day to begin the season. Hope this finds you still doing well and happy, Love Beth

Fun Times
Hey my friend, Wow, I can't believe you're around the globe. That's such a neat feeling, imagining you on the beach in Africa! It seems like South Africa is an easier place to feel welcome than India? Maybe partly because there isn't as much traditional dress? or is there? Do you feel comfortable walking around markets by yourself? Well thanks for posting all the photos too. Kayla, Tyler and I are here enjoying the spring. Love, Ruthie Toothie

thanks for keeping us in your journey. Those pictures look like they could all be worth a thousand words each--easily. Its looks like a great time with wonderful people, its good you can all have eachother's company as well as that of a foreign country.

there you are
wow, you're already there. I'm so glad you got to go. I think all the security and barbed wire would make me a little worried, you know, why would they put in all the effort? anyways, you look beatiful in your picture. Can't wait to see some more of your adventure

Ruth says hello
Hey Britt, Its so exciting! I'd like to see more pictures of course, I am a little jealous of your adventures :) It seems to me that some of the hype about safety might just be them trying to protect you all and of course when you first arrive in a country it is best to take everyones safety advice. I think after some time you'll get a better feel about what is safe or not, and if you live in fear bad things are more likely to happen anyway. Travelling with a buddy is always good news. Hope you can find some classes you want, although the education you receive from just living there will be worthwhile. Love and Hugs, Ruth

found your blog!
Well, I have been wondering what that square on my desktop that I never noticed before was for! I happened to glance at it again this evening and noticed it had a B attached to the title...aha! This missing blog. I didn't go to college for nothing! Thanks for posting the photos from London. Who is that dark haired girl with Gesche?
