how fabulous... WHAT A GREAT STORY! Thanks for sharing that. Spring break was here this week...kids and I went fishing in Branson - great place on the lake. Abbi and Steve were married last Saturday - if you haven't heard from Syd already, her and Matt went - she said it was the best wedding EVER...sad I couldn't make it. Missing you!
i must agree they are very impressive pictures you took there Brian. However, I agree with you and the picture of the dog. Breendonk must have felt like such an unwelcoming experience, especially as a memorial.
Looks like fun! Just wanted to say hey Bri...missing you here in ARkansas. Enjoyed the pics!!!! Hope all is well!!!! Farmers market starts soon - gonna miss those early morning saturdays with a hangover and some coffee!
Language Hello! I'm a 15 year old girl name Andrea and I'm going to be going to Europe this summer with my aunt. I'm very interested in Art. I found your site and absolutely loved it! I was wondering what language you spoke the most? And what was your favorite museum or if there is anything that you think I should see. I don't know a whole lot about Europe. But Paris is the first place on our list. :) Then Italy.
Hope to hear from you
Andrea
Thanks Joe!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yes, Joe, I'm aware that the name of the open area is "De Vrijdag Markt" (I live here, remember), but I was referring to the market itself, not the physical location. Depending on which day you visit De Vrijdag Markt, you may find clothes, food, pet supplies, etc.
Dude I straight up dig the museum scene. The last art museum I went to was years ago in St. Louis, MO, with Jessica Webb (Burgess). Anyway, had some nice pictures, but hardly a comparison. Glad you are enjoying yourself.
More info on pet market Hi there, I've just returned from Ghent, Belgium myself and walked through the (Pet Market), the correct name is 'De Vrijdag Markt' which literally translates as 'The Friday Market'. You must try the Belgium chips and stoverij meat stew that they sell in the green cabin on the side of the market....bootiful!! Also a bit of history for you the statue in the middle is of Jacob van Artevelde. He is famous for introducing the textile industry into Belgium from England.
your home away from home I like it - your Mom feels better - it looks comfortable and cozy - and roomy enough for visitors! And you must take me to the pet market so I can get gifts for Pyle and Sunny and Xena. Miss you
Mussels in Brussels Were the mussels good??? I love oysters so maybe I'll enjoy the mussels too. Hey saw a little bit of green grass in one of the photos - -
Your travels Brian it's amazing - the architecture is so beautiful! Thank you for taking this adventure and for insisting that I get my passport - April can't get here soon enough
I love Brussels I'm so jealous of you being in Brussels...I just booked our flights to Scotland for May...I'm trying now to find out how to get to Ireland from Glasgow...CHEAPLY...I just think while I'm there (scotland) I should hop over to the island..I'm giving SLM money (birthday) so she can fly to Europe this summer and see you..I told her if Matt didn't want to go..FINE..I'd go..and I promised I would not stay with her or gt in the way of her partying... Hope you're doing well...Sydnee misses you...meeeee too! Lynne
I'm from Arkansas, and I'll be living in Belgium for the first half of 2006. I hope this helps everyone keep up with me.
