It’s hard to believe I have been here for over three months now. I spent the first two weeks walking around in a jet lagged haze, the dreamy bubble of our Thai Land holiday had burst and the reality of surviving and finding work had set in. Luckily Pete and Brooke, our friends from home, put us up for a few weeks. They had a nice studio flat in Hampstead where we slept on the air mattress next to them. I think Brooke struggled with my snoring.
