Writing a story about the reef
I am writing a story about the reef that I am also illustrating and found your blog helpful. I am researching so that I can get accurate information for the character in the story. This is for kids. I am hoping to do something that will keep them engaged and interested in the reef and all of the animals that live there.

Congrats on the flight
Congrats on the flight Brent - would love to do a flight over the city one day in a helicopter or small plane. Have done them over Whenuapai/west Auckland when I was skydiving, not over the CBD though. That taxi fare, ouch! Ardmore is out of the way a bit....

The love of travel is a lifelong passion! I am so happy that you have the opportunities to experience so many amazing facets of life. The beauty of sun, sand, and paradise -hmmm- it will be really tough coming back to cold Nebraska! (BTW - I love the photos. What camera do you use? The saturation is fantastic!) Enjoy!

nice blog... nice pics... first advice i give anyone if they want to visit Hawaii is stay outta Honolulu except for fine dining... you are wise to get a condo in 'nalo, that is a perfect relaxing spot... if you & Kim want tip on where to see/swim with turtles without dozens of other tourists around shoot me an email, i'm not gonna post it for the world to see :) Aloha, Eric

Breckenridge Snow!
I loved this post about your trip to Breckenridge and Winterpark! It looks like you hit all the local hotspots! Fatty's is one of my favorite pizza places next to Giampietro's (you'll have to try it next time you visit). Have you heard how much snow we've had up here lately? Best snow for opening season that we've had in over a decade! Have you made a trip back to the area since March? It's great snow! Happy Holidays - Cheers!

golden circle
hi ive got flight so iceland for the 20th October, i will be getting a car and doing a self drive tour of the SW and south coast all the way to Hofn then raceing back for the flight home. Do you know what driving conditions are like in october? Could you point me in the right direction so i could book the golden circle trip that you did, snowmobiling etc

That was a fun trip. I've only SCUBA dived (SCUBA dove? SCUBA'ed) once and it was so much fun. The water looked beautiful (great pictures) as did the sunrises. I'm sure it was worth the 20 hours of flying...ugh!

I had no idea you were still writing in your blog..I will have to check it out here and there...Glad you had a good time in CO. Beau Jo's is one of my favorites...I can't say I like Casa though..The next winter I am in town you will have to come to winter park, my friend has an amazing condo eh!!

Utah's Subway
Zion's is one of my favorite places to visit, full of beauty and adventure. My favorite places to visit in Zion's is the Subway hike, it's a little out of the way and in the back country but definitely worth any extra effort it takes to get there.
