Howdy. Another boring post while we're still in the US. The main reason for these posts is to make sure that I know how to use this blog before we go. Something tells me that once we get to Mozambique I'll be uploading on a cruddy connection and won't want to be figuring out how to create blog posts in that environment. Right now I'm making preparations to print photos for some of the people we're working with. Okay, so Tucker and I are getting our blog started here. The idea is to keep everyone posted about what's going on for our Mozambique trip, July 12-Aug 6 2008. We'll be working in orphanages in and around Mozambique. So far: started to listen to Portuguese CDs; sorted clothes and created hygiene kits to take to the orphanages where we'll be working; looked on the internet to find out what diseases we might be in contact with (um, there's a lot and they all involve festering something or other); printed out Portuguese primary songs for use in sharing time in the [View Full Entry]
