I couldn't agree with you more about the difference between Georgia and Azerbaijan. Georgians seem more depressed than anything else and Azeris are all about stuffing you with delicious food and showing you around. But just to clarify, that photo of some sort of "mausoleum" is actually the Shirvanshah Palace and it has nothing to do with Arabs! It's the Shirvanshah Kingdom's palace where the King resided after conquering Baku and moving the capital from Shamakhi to the coast of the Caspian. In other words, it's a 100% Azerbaijani structure and the written script on is Persian, not Arabic. Beautiful city and great architecture. Cheers from the US!
