My name is Alex and i live in the Great White North which is of course Canada. I live in Edmonton, and if you follow hockey at all you'd know that we almost won the Stanley Cup. But please no Oilers suck comments, the daily reality of losing game seven is punishment enough.

Anyways, my first trip will be to New Zealand, Australia, and Hawaii starting in December. I'm basically going everywhere in New Zealand, and Australia so no real need to put the route. After that and a year of college i'll be heading out again, this time to Southeast Asia. And a couple years after that, the big tamale - the Round the World trip.

I guess some deep philosophical travel quote is in order here so i'll use my personal favorite from Tyler MacNiven's documentary, Kintaro Walks Japan:

"If you give yourself to the journey, the journey gives itself to YOU."
