Hi Lewis Gang Thank you very much for your message. It has been a painful process but Alexa has indeed got me eating vegetables! Mum is so proud! She's even started trying to get me to eat fish but has not had any luck on that front yet! We are having an amazing time on our travels. We are currently in Orlando although will be flying to South America next week. Time is going so quickly. Our favourite city thus far has been San Francisco although our best experience has been our helicopter ride over the Grand Canyon. Glad to hear that you are following our progress on the blog. Take care and hopefully see you again soon. Love Ben and Alexa xx

As you appear to be having much too good a time and the fact that I am extremely jealous I thought I would let Ben know that Chelsea beat Arsenal 2-0 at the weekend - yes Drogba scored !! Well, firstly let me say congratulations to Alexa for hitting Ben with a kayak. Admittedly, with that large, square monstrosity, it wasn't a small target. I am so jealous of the fantastic things you've seen already. The boat trip looks amazing. Judging by your fab pics, I really must visit the pacific north-west at some point. So while you're out there seeing the world, i'm stuck infront of a laptop 11-12 hours a day. Keep up the blogging guys, it's a great read and more importantly, it's my form of escapism from the dreary, dark and dismal office atmosphere that has become my sad, pathetic and rather depressing life....love to you both x

Hi Lex, I loved San Fran when we went there in 86 (I know, a long time ago!!). Lovely city with lots of character. We visited Alcatraz and also found it spooky and intimidating. How awful for the prisoners to look out the window and see the freedom of the city just a short boat trip away! We experienced a fairly severe earthquake at 4am in the morning. We were staying at the Mark Hopkins Hotel at the top of Nob Hill (very exclusive). I could hear the quake coming towards us before I felt it - it reached us and the whole room shook and the bed wobbled side to side. But, guess what, Rob slept right through it!! I was TERRIFIED. It was over in seconds but it made the news headlines the next day - something like 6.9 I recall from memory - that is high! Jimmy Cagney (the famous gangster actor) died on the same day but I think the quake stole the headlines on that day. Keep up the reports - we enjoy reading them and stay safe. Jill x PS. Hello Mr & Mrs Kelly! well, we are absolutley speachless at your amazing journey over the last months.....breathtaking! well youll soon be back in colder climates, but, as you say, this is where the journey begins........you both look amazing, and are such a well suited couple with your fondness of sports, good food ( Ben , can be a bit on the pickey side here, but, Im sure , Alexa will soon have you eatng your greens!!!)
