Diving You've got to do the hammerhead shark dive - that sounds amazing! I bet you're looking forward to diving in the St. Lawrence with me when you get back!!
Hi Reebs...I just want to say that even though I may not write back very often (or ever) I love to read your blogs and I often think about what I might reply if I were to write back (trust me, I have sent you some seriously funny emails in my head). I love that you're having such a great time and I can't wait until you return (whenever that may be).
Go For Gold on May 31st ... Rebecca, It is wonderful how you have filled us in on your very busy and creative life in Taiwan. Now I can't complain about my work schedule ... Have fun ... Marty
greetings Looks like great fun..... the kids must be a riot. I'm envious of all your adventures. I know you will make the best of it. Keep the blogs coming.
bye for now ...Don
Good Morning, Miss Orsini Hi Rebecca--Great pictures. Can't wait to see you with the mullet as you win the dragon boat race. I am going to be in a rowing regatta to raise money for Heart and Stroke. One of our ten crew has just qualified for the Boston Marathon....the rest of us....hmmmmm....... good luck in your race! You look like a natural in the pictures with "your kids". I'd love to teach with you some day! Enjoy, though I know you are!
Cheers--Kathy
You should just get floaties. You'll fit right in. Don't make the tests too easy for the kids, you gotta remember, they're friggin smart as hell, and they're standards are very high, so you can't screw up the system by lowering the bar, it's for their best interest. I'm happy to know the kids love you and you'll be a teacher that they will always remember. Can't wait to read more blogs. And put up more pics! I love them.
The beaches look amazing. So much excitement going on there. The more and more I read your entries the more I want to pack up and leave right now and go somewhere and teach! You're getting me excited reebazomeroni!
I'm so excited that you're in Taiwan, an experience of a lifetime. The way you described it reminds me exactly of India. But there is something that I love and miss so much about the loud, smelly, hectic disordered country, and you'll miss that so much too. Ok so I'm only going through all your blogs now, I'll get through them slowly but surely. Have an awesome time.
Stroke Hey Rebecca--Can we send you an "unwarped" paddle so you don't fall into the "pristine" waters there? Let us know! We'll be looking for you on the Dragon Boat circuit here in Canada.........Speaking of mediocracy, do you want me to send you any EQAO sample test questions for your students? If they are 5 years old, I'm sure that they can handle the grade 3 test questions here....hmmm..maybe even the grade 6 questions. When you find the secrets to education over there, let me know so that my grade 5s can remember to put their names on their papers and multiply 5 x 5. Want to trade places??((-: I'm signing you up as a guest "teacher" in my class when you return. Enjoy. we love to read your adventures. Cheers--Kathy
Taiwanese Cup? You reckon your footie team, who won the Taiwanese Cup, is ready to make the step up and take on our local Derby County FC? I stepped out into the English rain for my own football training today, looked up, and thought of your beach, sun and surf stories with a fair bit of jealousy... Sounds like you're keeping well and doing brilliantly out there! Cheers for the entertaining stories and all the best with your many adventures!
Teacher or Surfer?? Hi Rebecca--I can't tell which you will become--surfer or teacher. Hmm..as I reread I think it's teacher. the guy on the surfboard--was he the one I read about in the paper? ((-: Sounds like you are really getting into the place. Great! Keep us entertained--oops, I mean updated. Love to hear what you are experiencing! Cheers--Kathy
p.s.--do you think I could make some money here in Dundas during the Busking Festival by dancing on cars, wearing something spectacular? I like the white boots, personally((-:
There for You....LOL Hey Rebecca....and Faye....Just wanted to say that I love your apartment....soooo nice, makes me want to come and visit you. Sounds like you guys are having an amazing time, even with the incessant worry of roach infestations....Anyways good luck with your new job Rebecca and tell Faye that I wish her the best during her travels. Love Me (NMA)
Nice Digs Hi Becca -- Wow, the kitchen is so clean! Love the scenery! Is that a Frangipani Tree seen in the view from the Backyard Balcony? If so I hope you get to see it bloom. The frangance is amazing -- nothing quite like it. Happy Trails -- maybe we'll see you at a YES concert sometime in future.
Great Place to Live Hi Rebecca -- your appartment seems terrific -- I would like to live there for a while myself. I will ask my boss if he will pay for me to do an audit there.

Keep having fun!!
Miss you!
I'm impressed! Good effort! Your chapters become more interesting each time. Makes life in Derby, England rather uneventful!?! If you ever stop this way after your work and travels, make sure to give us a visit! Best of luck out there. Cheers, Mike
Love the Blogs I love the blogs rebecca.....hilarious, and it is so nice to read that you are doing well....I knew that you would!!!! I was thinking that as a part of one of your lesson plans you could teach the kids about the theory of chaos to the power of meal divided by FLETCH!!!!! Or perhaps what happens when you throw a dictionary out the window...GAWD....I'm soooooo immature. Anyways hope all is well!!! Love Anna
Pumps? A new phrase for you: "Wo bu neng chuan zhe shuang xie pa shan". Where are all the pictures? I want to travel vicariously through you, but it's hard without visuals. Well.. time to get a poutine.
