Buddhism, Taoism, Confucianism are the main religions in China. These religions were passed down from generation to generation. There were other religions but the dynasty or family that ruled of that time was not strong enough to make it stay. The dominant religion is Buddhism. Buddhism is unique because effected Chinese culture. It has three sections such as Han,Tibetan,and Southern buddhism it was brought over to china 2,000 years ago. It is different because Buddhism believes in no more suffering and self-control. It is similar to Christianity because Christians believe in ending suffering for people in the world but there is not that much of self-control.
