We were told to take the train from the airport to the downtown terminal for a couple reasons. One it only takes ½ hour and by car could be over an hour based on traffic. Two, it’s only 11 Euros per person, a cab was much more. We napped on the train; there isn’t much to see on the way into town. Once at the terminal we caught a cab. Traveling experience hasn’t given me a high trust level of cabbies, sorry to all the good ones. I have found them to be… opportunistic, shall we say. So we hop into the cab and his first question is, “First time in Rome?”, and before I could bite my tongue the word, “Yes” came out of my lips. What should have been a 13 euro ride into
