April

I'm a 30 year old health care worker from San Diego, actively continuing my quest for more travel. I love to get any from the norm and seek out new cultures, people, and food. I've been to Europe-11 cities in 19 days, Mexico, the U.S. South including Jazz Fest in New Orleans, Atlanta, all over the SW-Las Vegas, Carlsbad Caverns, San Francisco, CA Coast Route 1. I'm a native and 3rd-generation Californian so I enjoy short trips to-Palm Springs, Julian, Orange County Coast, and Catalina Island. I live in fabulous San Diego where I can enjoy everything in "America's Finest City"- hiking in Torrey Pines, partying in the Gaslamp District, boating in Mission Bay, biking in Pacific Beach on the boardwalk, and all the great food choices. I’m looking forward to my trip to Cabo in January, and then to Peru in May where I will attempt the “bucket-list-worthy” 4 day Inca Trail trek to Machu Picchu!

“Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn’t do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines, sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.” - Mark Twain

Our first night we stayed in Downtown PV the state of Jalisco, at the Villa Del Palmar. It's a charming resort with a nice bar area, and a beautiful pool with a waterslide. It's located about a mile from central downtown PV, right on the beach. I love the mature tropical landscaping. We took a cab to downtown and had a romantic birthday dinner at La Palapa-an amazing spot on the beach, perfect for sipping a glass of wine at sunset while you people watch. For breakfast we ... read more
