Yay! I'm so glad you made it to Buea..
I randomly stumbled across your blog.
I spent three months in Cameroon a year ago and love the people dearly.
I hope the rest of your trip was good to you! :)
I'm you in just a month! Wow so inspiring...i'm heading to pretty much all the countries you visited in just about a month! Can't even contain my excitement. Question....how did you get to Cameroon? Did you travel through Nigeria on a bus? Did Nigeria feel totally safe to you? (I've heard sketchy stories)....Thanks!
love the photos! Love the beautiful photos and all your great descriptions of the places you've been. Now I am planning a visit to Namibia too..

spell check I thought the spelling mistake was the hyphen or no hyphen debate! The blogs are fabulous A-M, there was loads I didn't know that came out in the last mail - the camera crew for example, I need to hear more about this!!
terrific Anne-Marie - your blogs were great - the wildlife experience in particular and your altogether different view of Ehiopia which you related was just overwhelming
Blogs are back! Delighted to see the blogs are back - i'm enjoying playing spot the difference with you and "youngster". So far the blue vest is the only thing I can see, ha ha.
World Cup 2002 Hey Miffy, Back in Japan we managed a draw. Is that the best you could do? Only joking - well done. BTW - Did you see Roger Milla? I wonder is he still dancing at the flagpole...
Dirty Feet I have to say your feet look an awful lot cleaner than Anto's or mine did after Glastonbury but we did have wellies to help. The scenery looks amazing and seen as we've only had a crap summer so far i'm very jealous.
Stay stafe.
Howya! Hi Anne-Marie, Greetings from all in 34 Beechwood! Glad to see your getting on well on your travels and you haven't ran into too many snakes yet. West Africa looks mad - Great pics. Its strange that an Irish person can't go anywhere abroad without been stalked by a few kegs of Guinness!
Traveling accross Africa by truck Hi Malek,
The company i'm with is overland club (www.overlandclub.com i think). there's plenty of other companys out there though offering different routes. its a budget company and you get what you pay for; so research how much you want to spend and what level of luxury you want before you decide who to travel with!
hey! tis your fellow kildare cousin here, just went through the latest blog, pretty impressive work considering the lack of power! a lot to take in-that dogon paraphernalia is great- as for the all singing all dancing goats, cant wait to see them!
take care, and if you get stung by a squid on the way, its true bout pissing on it-do they have squid near a desert ?!
Traveling accross Africa by truck I find your trip very interesting. Can you tell me how you arranged the truck tour? I am also interested in doing a similar journey but don't know how to join a tour or how to collect a group.
best bits What a brilliant blog. Nice step stats. Sounds like you are having an amazing time. Love the photos of the kids and the pyramid too! Keep having a BRILLIANT time. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Marcel says hello! At the moment he's wearing deadly army gear, I'll get a photo sent to you till you see it...
Missing Friday afternoon chineses at all?
Goat's that climb trees!!!! Are you serious? That's brilliant, get that photo up quick - I won't believe it until I see it! Your blog is great AnneMarie, It's conjuring up the Sahara for me in the office on a bleak Monday morning. And just remember, all that sand may be annoying but your skin will be smooth and soft after it. Blog soon!
