Howdy! You sound like a hard teacher, maybe you should give the kids a break;) The boys will be sad to hear that you no longer have a lizard that poops in your room. We are so excited that you are coming home soon, we can't wait to see you! The mountains are slowly getting snow. I will have your skiis waxed up and ready when you get home.
Love you!
Thanks Hi Andrew -- Thanks, so much, for the happy birthday voicemail!!! I am so sorry I missed you, we were on our way home from Halloween at Jeffy's. It was so wonderful to hear your voice!!! Your blogs are GREAT and congrats on the win!!! You are getting an amazing view of the world over there. Nothing new here, everyone is fine. We don't have any witches council meetings scheduled, but we will be sure to call you again at the next one -- ha ha ha! We sure do miss you and can hardly wait to see you! Boeing settled their strike, so Joey goes back to work tomorrow -- he is very, very glad! Again, thanks for the phone call. Good decisions Andrew,
It does my heart good to hear of the great decisions you are making. I am glad you didn't give in to the dishonest sales person. He will eventually be known to the community as such.
I know how much you will appreciate the things we take for granted in the USA now.
Love you,
Keith and Jody
Congratulations! Well, it's sound like things are settling down for you. You're finally a real PCV! You'll get better at speaking Twi. It's too bad you didn't feel good enough to celebrate after your graduation. You hadn't told me anything about the hives or swelling - but I'm glad that's all over with.
I know how hard it is for you so loose a soccer game- but - there's always next time! Glad that your shoes finally arrived!!!
I know that when you got to your site that it was kind of discouraging that the guy before you left it such a mess. Hopefully when you leave that site in 2 years, you will be a little kinder to the next PCV.
Well I'll be sending you another care package this Friday! Take care. Everyone says hello! Love, Mom

Hey Squiremate you son of a gun! This is your Montana counterpart checking in to make sure you are staying away from rocks and things like that. Im not sure what kid of CAT scans are in Akrokerri. It took me about two days to read all your blogs, holy cow man. You always have had you two cents to give :) Im holding it down in the Squire.....weird shit goes on your apartment, but I guess thats what #2 is all about. We just played University of Fraser Valley as a warm-up, and we have hem again tomorrow. I miss your natural speed, my work is cut out for me back there. I will blog in a few. Peace

Mel's new job If you need me to I'm sure I can get some footage of Mel to send over for the interview process, as much as she loves wailing here she'd proably do it for free:) Glad to hear things are going well and I'll send over some info soon on your DVD playback needs.
Hey, Andrew! My parents passed along the address for your blog. It's fun reading about your adventures! I bet Nate could give you some drumming tips! Stay well! :)
Ha, Ha, Ha...you are funny!!! See if I go out of my way to do nice things for you any more. Anyways...thanks for the laughs and I can't wait to share the "poop" stories with the boys. Love ya:)
Wow! I'm certainly glad that you are always looking for things for Melissa to do if the occasion should arise! I assume that she will send you a personal "Thank You"! Everything sounds extremely interesting. I know how hard it is for you not to dance or drum, especially for two weeks! Did you take pictures of the ceremony?
I know I'm not suppose to worry when you are sick, but I'm certainly glad that you are feeling better. This wonderful new club, CYPC, that you joining, are you an active member for the whole 2 years? Hopefully not!
The trip to the waterfalls sounds beautiful. Can't wait to see your pictures. Glad to hear that you got to play your game! Yes, your shoes are on their way!
We will put together a care package soon. The chocolate items may not travel very well in the heat, but we'll try sending them anyways.
Take care-I love hearing from you-Miss you so much.
Mom

Big post! Sounds like your practical training is going really well. Thanks for posting all that, it's great to keep up with what you're doing.
Maybe you'll be good enough to play some rummy with me when you get back...??? :)
Take care!
sweet if you need another deck of cards...just let us know...oh and ps anybody who wants to send him some new pens...he needs them...apparently after two weeks in ghana the affordable pens we bought have died! love you andrew, and I'll talk to you soon!
~Jenny
Wow! It is great that you have a phone and to hear your voice:) You have been crazy busy!!! I can't wait to see some pictures-SD card is on its way with your shoes. I just got done reading your blog to Dylan and he says it is funny that you have to dance there. He can't quite understand the reasoning behind it, but thinks it is silly. He wants to know why you chose dancing instead of drumming? I told him you were a good dancer and he just laughed and walked out of the room. Anyways it was good to talk to you on the 4th, and let us know if there is anything else you need. Love you and stay safe!!
What an adventure! Andrew, I am so proud of you.
This is an adventure, but it is also a life changing experience. From this, you will open your mind to the world out there. You will never again take for granted the constitution and other foundations of your country that guarantee freedoms through the rule of law. Ghana has had an up and down history through lack of a foundation that puts the military in the proper perspective, under civilian control.
From the time Nkrumah suspends the democracy of Ghana in 1964 and through 3 military coups and two juntas, it really wasn't until 2000 when Rawlings presidency ended, that he had gotten Ghana back on track. The country has even allowed in a reconciliation commission to investigate the injustices of the Military juntas.
What a great life lesson you will gain there. You are doing a great service to Ghana and for us. What a great role model of America they will have in you. Stick to your values and principles as that will rub off on young people there.
God bless you!
