Happy to hear another good one I read your blogs first thing in the morning so I know how Rachel willl be and I'm elated that the last few days (minus the whole guns thing) have been good. I told Bailey today on the way to Olive Tree you'd be home soon with Kamina and she was very exctied, she askes about baby Kamina a lot. I told her you took her out to look for babanas...having never done that she was very intreaged, I left out the bad part! She asked if you've seen any monkeys over there =)...where a child's mind goes. Anyways Rachel's spirits are good and we're still praying for all of you and can't wait to get you all home and have the final "The End". God's blessings Keith!!!!
I would have been terrified! Hello My Brother, Did you go back to your room and throw up, like I almost did just reading that? Sorry to everybody else for being so graphic, but that was very disturbing. I hope you've figured out a way to prevent that from happening again, like maybe staying in your safe house the rest of the time you're there. Please. I know you don't want to have to live like a prisoner, but you're so close to leaving, and I, for one, want you to stay safe! Praying harder than ever. Dear God, please keep my brother safe. Love ya much, Cathy
Now is not the time to play Rambo! Yes, we all know if you hadn't had KM on your back, Keith, you could have separated each of their heads from their necks in one chop and they wouldn't have known it until they sneezed! They had no idea how easily they got off, do they. Loves ya, little brother!
prayers will not stop until you both home I will not stop praying throughout the day until you and Kamina are both home!!! I am praying for your safety and that all paperwork goes quickly, so no more delays. Lots of candles burning for you tonight. We want you both home soon to Rachel. Sending love and prayers, the Hills
keith,
Greg and I are keeping up with your blog and thinking of you guys daily. You and Rachel are real troupers. God will see you through this, and you have lots of people who love you, Rachel, and Kamina dearly. they will be chasing each other in the church before you know it! We love you stay safe.
Keith, God is truly looking out for you and your daughter. Unless you have been trained to do "all kinds of Bruce Lee stuff" please don't. You could do more harm to yourself than to those dudes. Who then would take care of KM? Okay, I'm done lecturing. It must have been terrifying for you. Still praying for you and your family and for your safe return home. May the Lord make it sooner rather than later.
yeah we keep praying for you and KM and glad the backpack is helping. wish it came with a jet pack to get you all home! can't wait to hug you both and have you home!
love, the snows
Lunch w/Mom My Brother, We took your Mom out to lunch yesterday, and we had a really nice time with her! She was really excited to see Dave, Sandy and me! We went to Atria's in Wexford and had a really nice lunch together. Did a lot of catching up. Then we went back to her place and stayed there till about 3:30PM. Chatted, caught up some more, and just really enjoyed the afternoon together! She was fabulous as usual!! It's always a pleasure to be in her company! So, I wanted to catch you up on our afternoon together. I'm now about to sit down in front of an artichoke! I'm thinking of you, my man! Hope you're back soon! Love ya,
James
Sounding like your old self again! :) Hello L'il Brother, I cannot tell you how wonderful it is to hear you sounding like your old self again! I spoke with Mom yesterday and read that totally awesome blog from the 28th. She is so happy to hear your wonderful news. As I was reading her the blog, she informed me that "Baba" means Daddy in Swahili. I did not know that. I just thought it was something sweet Kamina calls you. :) In any event, sounds like you're making the most of your last days there and I really hope you write a book about this some day. Oh yeah, Mom keeps asking me for David Boyle's address so she can write him a "thank you" note. Is she adorable, or what? Love ya much, Cathy
yayyy uncle keith! lovin the good news :) still praying for your safe return with kamina. i shall come home from kent if you visit the burgh! i love you :)
I'm famous!! WOW! I'm famous...I got a mention on your blog! :0)
Seriously though. I'm so excited that things are going well and I can't wait for you guys to get home successfully. I am praying for you all often.
What an amazing and awesome adoption story Kamina will have for when she's older. She will never have any doubt she was meant to be yours and Rachel's!!
Blessings,
Angela
Most Awesome Blog Ever!!!!!!!!!!!!! Hello L'il Brother, I am so happy for you I cannot even express it with words! Didn't expect to see a blog from you, but we've been getting much appreciated email updates from Rachel, so we kind of know what is happening and what will hopefully happen next. Sounds like things are progressing as planned. Called Mom Thursday with the good news of the passport and baby exam. I'll call her again today and let her know how absolutely fantastic you sound in your blog and once again reassure her that things are coming along as expected. I'll get baking those biscottis and get them into the mail very soon. They should be there when you get there. :) Won't stop praying until you're on US soil, but it looks like all of our prayers are being answered. Thank you Lord. Please stay safe. Love ya much, Cathy
AWESOME, BABA! Absolutely incredibly wonderful news, Keith! We've all been on this emotional roller coaster with you and it's fantastic to finally be seeing the light at the end of the tunnel. When I talked with Mom yesterday, she said she was looking forward to having lunch with your old buddy, Jimmy, and I'm sure she had a very nice time. Rachel said David Boyle is from "our neck of the woods" and, of course, a Steelers fan. STEELER NATION IN AFRICA! I love it! Well, if we can take over the international space station, I guess we can be anywhere, right. Next stop, the stars!! Ha! Take care, little brother. Try to enjoy the rest of your visit, but get on the first plane out of there as quickly as you can. Loves ya - Marie
wonderful news, but praying still Wonderful news on the medical front!! But still praying and lighting many candles until you are both home and united with Rachel. Sending love and prayers, the Hills
Keith, I am glad everything seems to be falling into place finally. Don't worry about work, Janet and I have maintained the fort since you have been gone. We have also saved you plenty of montiors to do, this should keep you busy for a while. Just kidding! On another note, our company pinic in on Sept 27th from 4-8pm. Would you like for me to add your names to the list just in case? The paper is due by the 11th of Sept. Just let me know. We are all still thinking about you.
Keep laughing!! Keep laughing and bring that baby home!! We are rejoicing at your good news from the physical and can't wait for you to bring Kamina home!!
Blessings,
Angela (neighbor in red house)
Unum Unum contacted and updated, as is Pamela. Take care...love the international holidays. I had 12 Ukrainian holidays that fell while i was there and delayed things...three at the very end. Light is at the end of the tunnel-you and the baby are almost home.
Lunch Keith, Glad to hear things may be finally moving forward! Hope the info I sent to you about David Boyle and the consulate's office helped. Just wanted to let you know Dave and Sandy Binder and I are taking your Mom out to lunch this Saturday! Looking forward to seeing her. We'll raise a glass in your honor! Hope this helps keep your spirits high! Talk soon,
James
go get that passport in YOUR hand Awesome news Keith. You are a Patient man! Way to keep a positive attitude. The tide is turning, and the good news will snowball and get bigger and better. I'm sure of it! Hang in there just a little longer. See you back on US soil soon.
Our prayers our with you,
Greg and Stephanie Wozniak
