Chattanooga Choo-Choo Yes we did see a Chattanooga Choo-Choo, in fact there is a whole museum there dedicated to it. Not sure if if the museum is dedicated to Glen Miller or the trains, but there's still one there!!
G'day Hey you two!! Sounds like you are both having a blast. Agree with Knackers re: Palmo and the mullets but would love to remind you that Darwin not only has mullets but also Mud racing!!! Fi send me an email as I am now back on da boat ( or fender!!) and can receive emails to that address. Keeping enjoying yourselves. Love Renee :)
Feels like home Knackers your monster truck rally sounds great; however, the mullet competition takes the cake. Think I might have to see if Palmerston Shopping Centre wants to run one of those competitions - there are so many contenders here!
Hey Hey Hey Nic,
Trying to see if this comment stuff works. We are heading up to DC in April/May and we plan do NY over a week long period - just have to work out when!! It is the number 1 thing to do along with the National Parks. You know you guys are more than welcome to come over and stay as long as you want - there is heaps to do in Florida as you probably know and we have the spare bedroom and car here you can use for road trips.....Coming during the summer would be the best bet.
your journals hey Dan, your journals are great, keep them coming! Its so cool to see where you live and the cars you have bought etc. now we can put photos to the words you are writing!
Ciao, Nic
space centre tour you guys have to go back and do the tour, it is fantastic and the museum is great...well worth the trip, the other thing that you guys would love to , I know you are travelling around a bit, but if you do head up north north......go to washington dc...the smithsonian institute is fab and all the great buildings etc. however dc is dangerous at night so I found out back in 96. (weirdos running around everywhere!) also get to NY city if you can...it was fav place out of all the states....I hope Matt and I can get there so I can show him around and we can see where the twin towers were. I am still trying to convince Matt we should do our trip instead of him working all the time! anyhow guys keep us posted on your travels!
good on you Fi make sure Dan keeps slaving away in that kitchen....love your fridge!!!!
We miss you and can't wait to see you guys at our wedding :) not long to go now :):):)
Fiona and I are now back in the US, but this time with Patrick and Nicholas in tow!
We are re-starting our blogging to capture our second tour of the United states and hopefully share some of it with our family and friends wherever you may be in the world!... full info
