India 2011

This is my life long dream vacation. On this trip, I did decide to go with a group tour with Gap Adventures: 20 day Roam India tour. This tour is mostly Northern India (and specifically Rajasthan), but I guess it's best to leave something for subsequent trips.
Itinerary:
September 30: Depart Vancouver
October 2-5: Delhi
October 6-8: Jaisalmer and Camel Safari. That's right, I get to ride a camel into the Thar desert!
October 9-10: Jodhpur
October 11-12: Udaipur. One word: Octopussy!
October 13-14: Pushkar. Possibly more camels...
October 15-16: Jaipur. 60 monkey colony! Seeing a film at the Raj Mandir cinema! What more could a girl ask for?
October 17-18: Agra. Looking forward to checking our Akbar's tomb and a side trip to Fatehpur Sikri. Maybe I'll check out the Taj...
October 19-21: Varanasi. What trip would be complete without seeing the Ganges!
October 22-23: Delhi.
